Visited here for lunch after a lovely walk at Leith Hill only 5 mins away last week.Absolutely stunning country pub, decor is beautiful, food delicious and staff friendly. There is a large indoor seating area, outside covered area and outside sunny area.Had a burger and a pint in the sun and it was lovely.Lots of parking at the front and rear..wish this was our local pub!Highly recommend!

Quite large pub with good service and food. Outdoor areas to eat that are covered and a nice bar section.

Absolutely adore this gorgeous country pub! Has the perfect mix of traditional and modern elements, is cozy and has amazing staff. We didn't have a full meal, but the snacks and soup we had was delicious! We will definitely be back.

Found this pub by accident on a drive through the country. Lovely atmosphere, attentive staff and amazing food. Shout outs for the Leek and Potato Soup and the Chicken Liver Pate and also the Cod in Beer Batter. Awesome!

The food was lovely and the staff was amazing, not just very friendly but extremely well organized working in very busy environment. The one disappointing thing was the young lads smoking weed outside the front door- Not something the pub may be aware of or able to control, but found it slightly off-putting for local family friendly pub. Loved the amount of dogs - each and every four legged was welcomed with water bowl and jar of biscuits proudly located on the bar always makes you feel happy.

Relaxing atmosphere, great tasting food at competitive prices. Friendly staff and good service. Parking can be a problem at busy times

Special pub ! A must visit if you are in the area. The staff were so accommodating and went above and beyond. Beautiful interior and an extensive food and drink menu. Keen to come back !

·

Great food and service. Lots of simple tables out front with same menu as bookable tables inside and out the back. Cricket opposite, a bit of a draw for classic car people, surrounded by countryside and good driving/cycling roads.

We didn't get drinks or a menu 45 minutes after being seated but think it was an honest mistake. But then we didn't get our drinks for another 10 minutes because the barrels were being changed, but no one told us so I had to ask. Then our starter came with our main... However, this review still gets a solid 4 stars. The waitress was lovely, the venue is pleasant and the food was devine! Personally went for the slow roasted belly of pork which was worth every penny!

An absolutely great find. A large, busy, friendly & stylish country pub. Really great food (especially the Sunday roast!) with friendly & attentive young staff.I look forward to going back soon.
