Lovely rum cocktails to start with. Pan-fried meagre very good. Tofu pad Thai was not quite right. Great tofu and vegetable ingredients. Lovely presentation. The noodles had been broken into small pieces which was odd but obviously didn't affect the taste. It was very salty which I think was down to over use of soya sauce perhaps. Also it did not taste like a pad Thai.Great setting. We really enjoyed ourselves.

We booked a table for the 5 of us and were served by a friendly waitress who made us feel very welcome. We ordered our mains which took a fair amount of time to come but they were very good despite the wait. We were very courteous and stacked the plates so that they were easier to clear before ordering our deserts. Once finished we ordered coffee, as one does after a meal, but no sooner had the coffee arrived that another member of staff came and told us that we had 10 minutes left because someone else had booked our table... We then had to glug down our coffees and beetle off. Although we were offered another table it was a bit too little too late. Perhaps it would have been worth informing us when we arrived that their was a time limit rather than pouncing it on us whilst we were thoroughly enjoying ourselves and clearly were not finished our meal. In fact why have a time limit on a booking at all if you are the ones cashing it in. With this in mind I do hope the 12% service fee goes to the lovely waitress who was very concerned about our gluten free allergy and extremely considerate to our overall needs! All this being said, if not for the abrupt dismissal, this would have been a 5 star rating.

The service and food was excellent. Our table of four were inspired by Lizzie's pleasant and inviting manner. All through a busy and demanding evening, she was not only efficient and professional but incredibly knowledgeable on the whole menu. She should be Manager!

Beautiful setting.Father's day lunch ruined by uninterested waiter staff, who spent more time standing eating chips at the waiter station than tending to the customers. Rib eye steak was terrible. 1 Dessert arrived the other we had to ask for again.Safe to say we won't be back.

Came here for a midweek work meal. Great choice of gin, ales and food menu was tough to pick from! The food all came together and was well portioned and tasty. Colleague had the double chocolate brownie which was "amazing"! Service was also good, needed to add that!

Excellent service. Also one of our party was in Wheelchair and the Pheasant was one of the easiest places we have been to ... easy parking, well spaced out tables and excellent disabled toilet facilities. Food good but the menu is not exciting. Perfect for a group.

Ordered Cod&chips, Beef burger and Mushroom soup with truffle fries, service was good but food wasn't. Cod and chips were soaked in oil (perhaps oil wasn't hot enough before it was put in and it absorbed it all). Burger patty was very dry, onion chunks weren't sliced well. Mushroom soup was good, truffle fries did not have truffle flavour at all.Very disappointing experience for us and our guests. You expect home made food at a local pub, not commercially produced.

This was my first time here but my partner had been here before ..A excellent run place and the staff were lovely to...I never saw anyone not working everyone was always busy ...The food was amazing I had chicken ham and leek pie with creamy mash and a white wine and tarragon sauce...my partner had the burger...I give mine 10 out of 10 and so did my partner....I do cleaning for a living and couldn't find anything other than a clean environment...The toilets were also 10 /10 .We will be back thank you for a relaxed enjoyable evening.

The best Christmas lunch out we have ever had. Perfectly cooked, plenty of it, and served by a happy, smiling and wonderful team. Thank you all so much!
