Unfussy food served all day in a dog- and kid-friendly beamed 15th-century inn on the village green.

The food was fresh and extremely flavourful. It felt like I was back on vacation in Thailand and the service was very friendly.I strongly recommend this location any day of the week.Edit: I want to make it ABSOLUTELY CLEAR the Thai dining side was welcoming and had impeccable service and the Bar service area was awful. It was my first time there and the woman in the WHITE behind the bar had a foul face on her....I did not feel welcomed whatsoever. She brushed me off quite quickly when I asked where to go for the dining side of this establishment.

Lovely place to be and dog's friendly, which is important. Staff is helpful and offered me some dog's treats and the water bowl was provided outside. Great food and beers. Another pub to call my favourite.

Great pub and restaurant with a very comfortable setting. I came for lunch as I saw they offered Thai food and had the Massaman curry which was delicious. I would definitely visit again.

This was top of the TripAdvisor list for Thai food in the Leatherhead area so we decided to drive there and try it. Getting reservations was proper hard as they seem to always be full so give yourself a week ahead of time to book a weekend slot. The restaurant is part of The Plough pub and has ample parking towards the back which is very convenient. They were finishing off the back garden seating as well when we were there so should be a beautiful place for outdoor munching in good weather. Atmosphere is lovely and relaxed with well spaced tables, airy dining room overlooking the garden, and friendly service. We ordered several appetisers with were all well presented - the spring rolls were perfect light brown and crispy, fish cakes were freshly made and also fried up beautifully. We had a plate of calamari which was also excellent although but small - perhaps my kids just ate them too quickly. The mains were good and the family enjoyed most of them. We had a pad thai which was well presented, not too mushy and had the right ingredients as a traditional pad thai (no rogue veggies to be found!). The fried rice was also nice and light without too much sauce to darken it - sign of a truly good khao pad. The penang was a bit thin for my taste but my husband loved it. I had a tom yum noodle dish which did not impress as the soup didn’t have much depth to it.The food was very decent and I quite see why this place was well ranked for the area. Would I drive a long way for this - probably not but if I was in the area and wanted decent Thai food - The Plough / Malai Thai would be a very good option.

Amazing food, highly recommended. I would say that the Thai food was perhaps better than we ate in Thailand. 10/10.

Nice relaxed atmosphere as was taken out for a business meal. Good choice of food and staff were very attentive.Had the beef masaman which was nice although beef could have been softer, the flavour was there.I would eat there again.

We came here today on our way back from Gatwick Airport. The Plough is a lovely pub not far from the M25. Their outdoor area is very cozy and inviting. Unfortunately I can't say the same about the staff, the lady behind the bar was more interested in attending her friends than serving other customers and her attitude was rather rude. Restaurant staff that served our food was friendly and helpful. The food was very tasty. We did not expect much from Thai food, which was served in a pub, but the restaurant really surprised us. It seems to be independent but under the same roof of the pub, so it does make sense and is a refreshing concept compared to otherwise rather dull pub food served elsewhere. Prices were very reasonable for the huge portions they served us. I'd recommend the restaurant 100% and while the pub itself is great as well, its staff needs some lessons in hospitality.
