Lovely pub in a gorgeous village. Very nice food and staff. Only thing that took the shine off: the owner takes 50% of the service charge added to the bill. It's a bit greedy, so we took it off and gave cash to the staff instead.

It's always a pleasure to visit this friendly pub. Lovely garden partly covered and cosy indoors. Beer well kept and food good. Plenty of parking too.

Great Pub, good food & friendly staff. Visited Sunday 6th March and enjoyed a roast dinner with friends. Decent portions and prompt service. Keep up the good work.

Recently and tastefully refurbished pub. Good pub food and sandwiches with pleasant service. Music not to my taste and a bit loud but my partner loved it. Nice selection of well-kept beers including one of my favourite locals. We will definitely return.

Had a little section to ourselves and we all thoroughly enjoyed a few drinks and a delicious dinner. Staff were great, super friendly and fun! Dog friendly too!!

We went there last week with my family, and the team was incredibly welcoming making sure we were all right but never in an intrusive way.We had a dog and not only is the place dog-freidnly but we were also assigned in a very nice isolated room, I really appreciated the attention! And of course, the food was excellent! I highly recommend Six Bells for anyone in the area, we don't live close by but if we are in the area again we will definitely come back!Thank you so much to the team again for the very nice experience!

Definitely worth a visit. We were staying local so popped in for some drinks and food which was recommended in the guide and we were not disappointed! Our server Marina was fantastic and we were well taken care of. We had the scallops, superfood salad which was delicious and the fish pie; again amazing. We were told about about the history of the pub which was a nice touch. Dogs are welcome in the front lounge and the venue has a large garden with a huge seating area and an old well. They have some games in the corner so decided on a few rounds of dominoes. Before leaving we were asked by Craig if we would like to reserve the Chesterfield arm chairs by the cosy fire they would set up and when we entered a water bowl and some dog treats were presented for our pooch which was a lovely touch. Thanks so much to Marine and Craig who were very friendly and professional, another reason why we returned for our final supper before heading home. Hope to see you again soon!

What a great find !Lots of parking and garden space as well as a large covered area. The staff are polite and helpful.Excellent real Ale including one of my favourites 'Shere Drop'The food was outstanding, I had wild mushrooms in a delightful creamy sauce, followed by the classic 'Fish and Chips'. The fish was very fresh and well cooked and a light crispy batter.Well done. This pub is well worth a visit (or three!)

The 6 bells has recently been taken over by new owner/chef. They are still busy completing the refurbishment on the inside but the garden has been completed and refurnished. The venue already has an amazing atmosphere and the staff are really professional and friendly. The food at the moment is really good so excited to see what is coming. Definitely worth a visit.
