Fantastic setting. The food and service were also fabulous. Will be returning.

Incredible food, incredible menu, incredible service! The food quality is exceptional and they offer a very extensive menu and brilliant for vegetarian and vegan - you'll be spoilt for choice. We were so impressed we came back the next day! The atmosphere is fantastic, very warm and welcoming

Had the worst experience here.Valentines meal rip off!£90 for the worst cooked pork I have ever seen! Hard to cut, chewy and then found out it was mass cooked the day before and reheated! Then over half an hour wait for the next main course which was just as poor and we were pasted being hungry!Didn’t want to stay for dessert as it was just such a poor meal out!Still charged us for the full 3 course meal without any apology for the horrid food! After kicking up a fussy they removed the service charge, which was not good enough!!We will never return to this pub and will make sure our friend and family stay clear also!Money greedy without a care for their customers!

I liked the atmosphere, fireplace and nice view out of the window. Sunday roast was OK, would have liked a bit extra beef. Pint of doombar was 4.20 so good. Might come back if I m in the area.

First visit after driving past numerous times on my way home from work, it always looks inviting. It didn’t disappoint, lovely staff and great food. Look forward to visiting again, had a fab garden for summer visits too.

We ordered burger and fillet salad for lunch. Burger was taste good but the price is overpriced. I paid £18 with burger and chips no bacon & add jalapeños. They charged £1.6 for pieces of jalapeño. Fillet of Beef fillet salad was tough. The waitress was rude. She asked I needed a bill even though I didn’t finish my drink. Restaurant was not busy at that time. (Wed noon).AddNormal burger (only vegan was on the menu) was not on the menu. Waitress didn’t explain what kind of burger you have and how much or additional charge etc. After finishing our meal, I thought she suggested another drinks when she approached. Shocked. The waitress was rude from first to end when I visited this place. Never experienced like this.

Warm welcome after a walk. Lovely friendly team and our waitress chatted with us and made us feel very welcome. Nothing too much trouble - amended meals to accomodate our likes. Banter with us about our love of all things cheese. The place was super clean and tables spaced out well. Delicious food. Really lovely place.

I have probably driven past this pub a thousand times, as we were let down by another restaurant due to staff going down with covid, we made an online booking. When we arrived we were outnumbered by staff, but it soon became obvious as within a few mins the place was full! The food was good and the quality high, although I wasn't blown away, good but not memorable I have to say. Wasps seem to be an issue as we amongst others seemed to be dive bomded by kamikaze wasps hell bent on sharing our food!

Lovely ambience and staff. Prefer to sit inside as the outdoor sitting is next to a busy road so it tends to get noisy. Vegetarian options on the menu are average and pricey. Plant based burger is best avoided. The dessert was brilliant.

We had a really lovely meal here. The staff were really good and helped with a food intolerance and offered really great alternatives and checked in with us to ensure we were happy. Thank you for a Lovely meal!
