Cakes and food are nice, if a little pricey but the coffee now is terrible (it didn't used to be). To be fair, there is a sign at the till saying the coffee is from a machine, which can sometimes be OK but unfortunately the coffee here tastes like it's come from a poor quality vending machine. My advice is to have tea

We arrived just after 12.00 on Sunday 6th March to the delicious smell of cooked breakfast rolls. We had a voucher for cream tea and cake (present alongside tickets for the museum) for which we received a hot drink and the most amazing pieces of cake and scones/jam/clotted cream.Previous reviews have commented about the cake being pricey, but based on the size of the cakes and puddings, I'm not sure I agree with these comments. We found the staff very friendly and helpful, during a busy brunch/lunch period. The Mocha was also one of the nicest I've had. We will definitely be returning on our bike, for a breakfast bap or two in the future. :)

Visited here especially to try the cheesecake Easter eggs I saw advertised on Facebook. Everything is SO OVERPRICED here! It cost 5 pounds for one half of an Easter egg! A little slither of cake cost 4 pounds! We said thank you and left without buying anything, the lady on the till was friendly when we arrived and because we didn't buy anything she didn't even say bye!

I visited this place today with my 18 month old granddaughter with the intention of having some lunch. I didn’t get that far due to the abrupt and rude manner of a female member of staff. Upon entering my granddaughter who was walking and holding my hand, tapped (by no means hard) two of the Perspex screens that are in place. The female member of staff clearly had an issue with this, but instead of voicing it politely, she just spurted out “er, those cost £200 each!!”I visited this place many many times before and have ALWAYS found this member of staff to be miserable and rude - never a smile on her face!

I too have had several very similar experiences to the previous review. My friends and I compared the woman at the till to the gestapo. On the first occasion she refused to give me a glass of water for my child. I was buying other things. The second time she refused to give me hot water to add to my tea. Her manner is offensive and unwelcoming. Everything is served in takeaway containers. What's wrong with washing up?

Visited for the first time this week with my elderly parents. Had seen several inviting Facebook posts, so travelled from Poole. Upon collecting the drinks & taking some more pots of milk for my parents, I was YELLED at by a member of staff. Her attack was on me 'helping myself (!)' to more pots of milk, based on 'PEOPLE LIKE ME' (?) having no care for the environment with the use of 'all that plastic'? I was too taken aback to respond at the time, just shocked! We finished our drinks & cakes then left, after noticing that the cakes were served in disposable polystyrene boxes & drinks were being served in paper cups? I am very environmentally aware, if milk had been available in a small jug, we would have had no need for the small cartons. Needless to say.....will not be back.

The cakes here are absolutely amazing! Well worth a visit.

Lovely tasty food at reasonable prices. Not a big selection, but understandable given the limited kitchen facilities. Cakes are fantastic and the staff are very friendly.

Fantastic cakes and fry ups. Shared a cheesecake and cake with friend. OMG! Cash if under £10. Dogs in different section.
