Beach House in New Forest
Where is Beach House?
🏠 Park Ln, Milford on Sea, Lymington SO41 0PT
"The Beach House is a Pub Restaurant and Hotel in Park Lane, Milford-on-Sea, Lymington. It is a stunning location with views to The Needles. The Grade II listed Beach House was built in 1897 for Alexander Siemens as a summer house for his family. Built in the Arts and Crafts style it was judged the most luxurious residence on England’s south coast. With fantastic raised patio areas and extensive gardens the pub also boasts over 200 outside covers and affords great views across to The Needles and the Isle of Wight (on a clear day of course!)."

Awful visit yesterday. I have dined here several times but sadly never again. I had booked a table on 27 February for lunch on 25 March. On arrival I was told we would be seated in the bar as the restaurant was full. I questioned why there was no table available in the restaurant as I had booked. I was told my booking came through as 12 midnight even though I had confirmation of a 12.45pm booking and had followed up with a phone call to change the booking to 1pm and had been told it had been amended. I was informed there was no table available in the restaurant until 4pm. We were eventually moved into the restaurant to have our meal. The restaurant then promptly emptied and it was only ourselves and one other table in the restaurant. So much for being full until 4pm. Also no lamb available and reduced choice on the menu. Such a shame as this place used to be wonderful. If you're thinking of dining here now, don't bother.

Just had a fabulous meal at the Beech House. Excellent welcome, service and atmosphere. Had a window seat in restaurant and watched the sun go down. Such wonderful views. Highly recommend this place 😊

Whilst the place was unusual, due to it history, the food was a bit hit and miss. Most of the food was ok, but could have tweaked to be better. Found califlower starter to be to wet, and the steak pie cooked/reheated in the microwave, due to how the pastry cut. The apple pie was nice

My lovely partner and I spent Valentines Day evening here, and were very taken with the fabulous architecture and decor of this wonderful building. A very comfortable, relaxed atmosphere, we were served by George who was the embodiment of friendliness, attentiveness and good service. Our experience was really positive and the food was delicious, with sizeable portions. Definitely a place we will return to. Try it yourselves, you will not be disappointed.

I don't know where to start with this place. Huge stained glass windows which look great from the roadside. Plenty of parking. The building is absolutely beautiful and has a very interesting history. Set in some lovely grounds and a small walk to the cliff tops. I stayed for two nights in celebration of my birthday, and just had the best time! Inside the building is absolutely stunning. Art everywhere, wooden panneling on the walls, gorgeous fireplaces dotted around. The service in the dining room was friendly and very prompt. The food is a very good standard! Plenty on the menu for everyone. We had a luxury double room with a sea view that was just lovely, especially at sunset! The room was clean and tidy, well decorated and no shortage of room! The bed was huge and very comfortable.I would like to give a particularly special shout out to Stu and George (the ginger girl) who are not only great at what they do, they went out of their way to make my birthday stay a great one! Stu is hilarious and full of banter, George is a great laugh and just a wonderful young lady. These two members of staff massively contributed to me just having a great time away. All the staff were lovely, but these two were definitely my kind of people.I will definitely be coming to stay again. And I would highly recommend to anyone who hasn't, to visit.

The Beach House is a very relaxed place to enjoy a lovely cup of tea or coffee after a morning walk along the front, or, for a visit for their excellent food. Staff are very friendly and the surroundings are "oldy wordly" but clean. Always a welcoming log fire as well.

Great place to eat, dining room really ornate, such a great pub and restaurant, food and service top notch. We had scotch egg and pigs in blanket sausage roll for starters, both were very good as we're the mains , steak ale pie with mash and veg and also my partner's plate of sea bream was very good too, will definitely be returning soon.

An interesting venue positioned on the coast (with welcoming staff), for enjoying an afternoon coffee and cake. Food menu is also available. Wonderful views of Isle of Wight and The Needles.
