Had a delicious Breakfast here. Great position overlooking the beach. Really great steampunk vibe. Attentive staff that helped with husband's nut allergy. We would definitely recommend and go back ourselves

We visited today for lunch with my parents and grandparents. The food was absolutely lovely and the service was amazing. Unfortunately my Grandad choked on some of his food and the team at Beachcomber came to help - they were superb. Malcolm was giving his first aid, he was calm, caring and knew exactly what to do. Despite his efforts he made the call for an ambulance which made sure my grandad was ok after his episode. My grandad is fine and I cannot thank Malcolm enough for his help today. We will definitely be going back here for another visit!!

What a lovely place.....such friendly, acommodating staff!!We had a table inside but someone had fish which triggered my daughter's allergy so we had to move outside. They were so kind about it!We had various cakes and tea, all of which was delicious and the Belgian bun was the best I've had in ages!!!!

Popped in for roast lunch, excellent meal, plenty on the plate. They were busy but service was very good. View from outside table was fantastic, to the east the Isle of Wight & to the west Studland bay & old Harry rocks in the distance.

Excellent Breakfast, Excellent Service! This is such a wonderful cafe that serves fantastic food & drink all day. We're lucky enough to live in Barton-On-Sea having moved down in 2020 & go to this cafe as much as possible throughout the year so we highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. It does get very busy so book if your dining to avoid disappointment.

Wonderful breakfast,Delicious, piping hot Christmas Eve breakfast that was cooked perfectly. Cafe was busy with a great atmosphere along with friendly staff. Great view out to sea even on a cloudy soggy day.Always enjoy coming here.

The Beachcomber Cafe has been transformed since we last visited. Improved decor and more space. Screens between tables actually look good and do not make it too cramped. We were able to negotiate a wheelchair without any issue. Always a favourite when visiting the beach for a post walk warm up. Very friendly service and good cakes and coffee.

Update to this review... my recent visit was a disappointment as they weren't serving breakfast. Coffee and cake only before 12pm. Staff shortages I guess. I can only say please never serve microwaved fruit scones again. If they are not fresh, don't serve them.Lovely views outside. Inside is cozy with a woodburner. Excellent cooked breakfast with local sausages. Good vegetarian options. (Possibly they are only doing breakfast at the weekend)

Came in for lunch today and had the Beachcomber burger. Prices higher than I remember pre-covid but looks like they’ve had a total makeover and the quality of food was improved too, delicious meal. Prefer the old look and feel though ❤️

The cafeteria is well a great place to have a meal, snack or just a cuppa.... situated overlooking the Solent and the beautiful West Wight and the Needles...enjoy.
