Coach and Horses in New Forest

We have eaten there lots of times and always fresh food well presented and polite staff. I asked my girlfriend to marry me there, and the manager came with a bottle of champagne to congratulate us from his staff.

Lovely service and huge portions! We really enjoyed our meal - nachos to start (more than enough for 4) then two of us had chilli burritos (half went in a doggy bag) one fish and chips and one Texan chicken. We were all really pleased with our meals and the boys were impressed with the beer selection. Recommend!

Good menu and excellent food! Good portions, well presented and beautifully home cooked! Haven't been here for a few years. Even my "I'll just have a sensible sandwhich" turned out to be a very generous gastro style experience! Will definitely be returning!

We ordered drinks on arrival and waited 25 mins. There were only 5 tables occupied, and that was after I said I was thirsty! Food came soon after. Very nice but could have been warmer! I was told they were short staffed.

Four of us stopped for lunch on the off chance without a booking. We were made very welcome. The real ales were well kept and the food menu was extensive, including a wide range of vegetarian options. The food was really good quality and excellent value for money. Well recommended and we will be back.

The best nachos I have ever eaten and the homemade brownie was perfection. Massive portions and excellent quality. Can't wait to go back!

Wow, if you are in the area and reading this review just go here! The portions are massive so wear stretchy clothes but it’s all home cooked to order and tastes amazing

Nice friendly little pub in new forest. Ordered the beef brisket burger which I thought was a little under seasoned and dry. Massive portion. Good for a quick stopover.
