We had a lovely lunch at the East End Arms yesterday. My 11 yr old son, said it was 5 stars! And we agreed, the service was quick, the food was so delicious, and the wine was really lovely too. Looking forward to going back soon!

Lovely pub with friendly service, in a really beautiful location. Definitely looking forward to going back and trying the food as the pub has a Michelin star and is reasonably priced.

Unbelievably rude staff. One of them laughed in my face when I asked for a cocktail. Another was involved in stealing money from the establishment for many years. Revolting patrons. Overpriced food of low quality. Every time I've been there's been hillbillies having a punch up. Don't go here if you like friendly staff, good food or want to be safe from violence. I've been here many times and can conclude that it is an utter toilet. Don't waste your time and money. Stay safe from violence and go elsewhere.

Visited the East End Arms in Lymington last night for the works Christmas party and couldn't be happier. From the off the staff were attentive, friendly and professional. We were seated in the restaurant section of the East End Arms, which is adequately spaced with excellent seating and table areas but from what I saw of the bar area it was perfectly set out too.The food was excellent - I had the Duck Terrine followed by Rib Eye steak which was cooked perfectly rare, chunky chips, peppercorn and watercress. Lovely meal. Couldn't finish it myself but luckily my colleagues were on hand to help clear away remaining chips and watercress! Ha.Will definitely be returning!!

Had the best stay here! The food is amazing and the staff are so wonderful. The perfect location for the beach and the town centre. We can’t wait to re-book!Shout out to Shae, Jane and Oli - they are amazing and made our trip! Xxx

Nice place, warm and comfortable. Great breakfasts. Shay, deserves a special mention for the way she looked after us. The lady that served breakfast was lovely too. It was a shame the restaurant was not open on the nights we stayed, judging by the breakfast, the food would have been very good.

Service was very good but the fish & chips dish was massively under-whelming. I think the rather tasteless fish was "commercial" pollock or coley (rather than cod or haddock) with thin, rather over-cooked batter that tasted like the frying- oil needed changing.

Super food and rooms not expensive, bathroom could be a bit more modernised, super staff and a great bar very British and genuine, darts, locals etc not at all pretentious and a fab restaurant with brilliant black and white photos of famous actors and musicians.

This pub is a gem, well known amongst the locals, there is nothing to fault. Food is excellent, with a good selection of wines. If you are looking for a place to stay there are rooms too, and if you want the real spit and saw dust local pub feel try, then try the locals bar. 10/10.

The food that I was served in the bar, Haddock, chips and peas, was fresh, perfectly cooked and nice!y presented. The bar area was OK, as were the toilets. I noticed that the paper hand towels were of high quality and nice to use. At £22, prices seemed a little high for fish and chips and a shandy. The pub/ restaurant seems to be aiming for high standards and is generally achieving them, though it's not quite what I wanted or expected when I entered the bar area. Needs a separate bar menu, really....
