Ebenezers in New Forest

Great independent free house, that looks like a traditional pub, is a traditional pub, but also isn't a traditional pub. I know that makes no sense, but go along and you'll see what I mean.Really pleased to have found this gem.

A small group of us often go into Ebenezers on a Wednesday evening.The staff are welcoming and cheerful.Other visitors always appear contented and chatty.There is a selection of Real Ales.When I have had evening meals they have always been delicious and properly cooked.There or a large car park to the rear which is free during the evenings.Hythe ferry and bus terminus are close by.Thoroughly recommend a visit.

I ate here for the first time on Monday lunchtime and I was really impressed , the food was amazing and we were looked after really well , the menu is varied and is very good value , the portions are huge , I couldn't manage all mine , they must waste a lot of food , but I will definitely go back again and will recommend it to my friends

Lovely food, staff and atmosphere

Lovely food, nice setting. Staff were pleasant, but unfortunately need training. Our starter arrived with our main course, and we didn’t have a check back, so we’re left gasping for more drinks with our food, as it took over 45 minutes for our dishes to arrive. We were there when it was quiet too. No online presence, no menus posted. Seems great for locals sat at the bar with time to kill, but not great for others.

Excellent food amazing staff very cosy good value

Awesome staff and atmosphere. Good guest Beers/ciders. Could probably benefit from a refresh inside, but overall a great place to have a drink in Hythe.

Great locals pub. Really friendly and welcoming. Well kept beers and the food is pub grub just what you need!! Great Thai curry and home made pie.
