Elm Tree Inn in New Forest

Pleasant and friendly local with restaurant and bar area. Brilliant selection of ales, Abbot, Speckled Hen, Taylor's and IPA but served too cold so a bit gassy and tasteless. Limited menu with typical pub fare but prepared and presented just about adequately. Chef needs to visit an Isle of Wight pub to see how it should be done.

Great building. Cleaner than it used to be. Bit short on good ales, just the standard and no variation in four visits in two months. Haven't eaten there recently so I can't rate the food.

Lovely place, lovely atmosphere and excellent food. Perfect and welcoming staff. Couldn't have asked for more.

Really friendly welcoming staff, even when we arrived with 3 dogs! A good selection of beers and ales. We also had some food from the bar snacks menu, all of which were delicious and then even had no issues with the food intolerance requests we had. Really glad we visited!

Fed up of decorators paint smell at home, went for a fabulously rewarding pint of speckled then theIr carvery was to die for. Crispy roast pots, turkey and pork melting in your mouth, good portions - and all hot too. The staff can’t do enough for you, any requests immediately addressed. Manager Chad puts himself out to ensure everyone content, overall I’ll be back regularly! Well done for turning it around everyone 🍻

Came for lunch on Tuesday was not disappointed, we were given a warm welcome by Mike ,Callum and the team I had Hunters Chicken which is a favourite of mine and was the best I have tasted so far , my companion had steak pie with mash and peas and could not stop talking about it.The hot chocolate drink was delicious .We can highly recommend the Elm Tree .

Ordered Ploughman's and was not disappointed. Only downside was margarine not butter for the roll. Nice setting inside. Clean. Nice place for a spot of lunch.

Staying in Ringwood for a few days and found The Elm Tree pub on-line. Ate here twice and weren't disappointed. Great food, service and prices. You have to try the chocolate brownies!! You can always go on that diet next week! Special mention to Chad & Liv for excellent service.
