Fox & Hounds in New Forest

We had Sunday lunch there. It was delicious and the staff was very welcoming. It was very busy, so I would recommend to book a table not to get disappointed. Thumps up for the Fox & Hounds in Lyndhurst!

Great food drink entertainment ( singer with guitar). Yet another public place that allows dogs, us asthmatics suffer. Unfortunately there wasn't anywhere in Lyndhurst that wasn't dog free 😩

cheerful quick service both me and my partner agreed it was the tastiest meal we've had in a long while even the kids finished every bite will definitely be going back 👌

Great location, friendly staff who couldn't be more helpful.Came in with a party of seven on a Saturday linhtime and they made room to fit us in.Food is higher end priced but cooked fresh and tasty, and considering the setting, location and quality it's worth it.Would certainly come back

Something that always bewilders me is people who love the food and service and give 4 stars when the average rating is 4.7? Problem with Google analytics is you have to give 5 stars or you are reducing the score when you don't mean to. 5 stars all the way for me. We were really happily surprised at how good the food offering was. For a branded pub it was excellent! The only issue for me was the fact that I subscribed for the January special 20% off twice and never got the email confirmation so never got the discount. Will definitely use again when in the area.

A very lovely pub in the heart of Lyndhurst.We had the chicken Kiev and it was delicious.We opted to sit in the garden area and enjoyed listening to the Monday night quiz.Would definitely go again.

Just so happen to swing in here to shelter from the rain downpour. Ended up having lunch and staying for a few drinks. Very dog friendly. Dog received a lot of fuss! Club sandwich was mega and took an effort to finish it all. Would highly recommend. Delicious. Good service and good prices. Will definitely be back.

Baby friendly! Changing facilities and high chairs. Classic pub grub but much nicer than your average pub grub. Decent selection of beers and good toilets. You can tell a lot about a pub by how good the toilets are and what kind of beers they have on tap. If I was local I'd come back here over and over again.Quick edit: the chef special fried squid was amazing and the pickled onions in the burger were a delightful surprise!!
