Fuchi in New Forest

It seems the once great futchi has now shut as a restaurant what a shame it seemed like it was shut no heating on lights off

Very disappointing!Order Singapore noddles paid extra for king prawns got tiny prawns.Had chicken curry and chicken was raw and very cheap quality.Had squid and was under cooked couldn’t eat.The large spring roll was also raw and had to much batter, to which the chef agreed.Only item that we ordered that we could eat was the boiled rice it was good.Restaurant asked that we brought all items back so it could be seen and we could have a refund. The Chinese is half hour drive. I did not drive back as in total it would have been 2 hours round trip in total and petrol prices are insane, plus now I need to cook dinner.Fuchi has always been a treat due to the distance and has always been delicious and reasonable in price.The prices have raised a lot since I last visited and sadly the quality has dropped. If I could give 0 star I would.

We recently order some takeaways after friends’ recommendation. It is absolutely high end restaurant standards takeaways. Food all came well packaged and nice presented. Hot and tasty.

First time using Fuchi after a recommendation as normally can not get a decent delivery where I live. I have to say, the food was lovely, good portion size and the driver arrived earlier than predicted so very happy.

*review based on takeaway*This is a nicely presented chinese restaurant. The staff and hostess is very professional. The speed of the food was acceptable too considering it was during a high demand period. The online collection system was okay but could improve however that's not where I was a bit disappointed. I had real expectations as it was a recommendation. We ordered the meal for two and it was great to see the quantity and variety was as expected. However, the quality in almost half the dishes were not to the level compared with the recommendation and the reviews already on Google. It could be that they were just very busy and couldn't provide the high quality as normal but I would still try again.

Very professional attitude during this pandemic. Booked a table for 4 to meet some friends. Temperature check on arrival. All staff and take away carriers wore face masks correctly and continuously. Food was excellent as usual. Service a little slow, but they were busy with take out orders. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience. First time eating here and went on recommendation. Our group eats in various locations across Hampshire monthly. This has to be one of the finest Chinese meals I have had anywhere and I have no hesitation in endorsing this as a venue for others to try.The staff were also excellent and wait times fantastic. Coupled with a nice contemporary decor this would be a good choice for special occasions also.Recommended

The food here is exceptional as is the service. The dining area is large and warm with a friendly feel to it. Overall the Fuchi is a winner :D

Delicious food and well presented. Every plate of food from the dry prawns to the soft noodles and the chilli chicken were masterfully cooked and served.The staff were polite and attentive. The decor of the restaurant very welcoming and the prices were also spot on perfect!This would be our "go-to" restaurant if we lived locally. Well done to the owners, chefs and staff. Simply superb.
