Been coming here for years, never disappointed. Popped in for a quick dog walk on the forest then a quick bite to eat. We both chose the High corner burger. Absolutely fantastic. Staff ever so friendly and helpful. Keep it up, see you soon.

It's quite expensive, for three people ordering a meal and a drink it came to around £70. Went during Easter weekend and they were not prepared for the amount of people so service was very slow. One of the meals missed a pretty crucial component and they didn't offer any alternative or refund when it came out missing said item. Was an open mic day and that added to the atmosphere and brought it up to a three star review from a two.Overall I wouldn't come back but it was nice enough, seems very suited for families with kids (apart from pricing)

Always sich a great location & dog friendly garden. We've been visiting the High Corner Inn for a post walk lunch on and off for many years, and I can honestly say todays lunch was the best we've ever had there. I don't know if there's a new chef but the menu was more varied & we couldn't fault our meals, well done High Corner and thank you for good, friendly service too by all staff.

This is a lovely pub, with lovely comfy rooms in a wonderful part of the New Forest that you can explore by walking straight out of the door into the forest. It was quiet when we stayed in mid-March but the staff were really friendly, the service excellent and the food was delicious! Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again - next time I’ll bring my horse and use their stables!

Set in a lovely quiet part of the New Forest, this hotel was welcoming, friendly and had everything we need to have a restful and enjoyable couple of days before half term hit.The food choice and service was ideal, the beers & wine tasty and the rooms comfortable...topped off with friendly staff keen to help from the management down.PLUS you are surrounded by Ponies, Donkeys, Cattle, Sheep, Deer and the some of the most beautiful scenery in the UKDefinitely on our list to use again.

Had an amazing roast here on a Sunday, People were even sat outside on the last weekend of Feb as it was a warm day. Had prebooked as otherwise we would have missed out. Staff were attentive and looked after us well despite being super busy for the unexpected rush!

Proper dog-friendly pub set in a superb location. Fine ales, fine food, very friendly staff and beautiful walks from the door. Literally ticks all our boxes.

I booked a one night stay at the High Corner Inn for my partners Birthday, When we arrived the building oozed Old English charm the wooden beams on the ceiling and a roaring log fire which smelt beautiful. We were greeted by James and shown to our room (Kingfisher). James was friendly and welcoming and later in the evening he was serving in the bar. Every bar/hotel/restaurant should have a James he is an excellent example of customer service friendly helpful knowledgeable and took everything in his stride, nothing was too much trouble. He made us feel very much at home. Our evening meal was delicious I would highly recommend the Festive pie and the gluten free fish and chips. The other guests and bar staff were very friendly such a lovely atmosphere. The room was beautiful very spacious, warm, clean and the bathroom was magnificent. The bed was so comfortable we nearly slept through breakfast which would have been a shame as we made up just in time and the full English Breakfast was excellent. We returned after a walk in the surrounding forest to a traditional Sunday lunch served in the restaurant which was the perfect end to a lovely break away. All in all a fabulous venue for a romantic break with beautiful rooms, friendly staff and excellent food set in a charming Inn in the middle of the forest.

17 of us visited the High Corner on a Sunday afternoon for a works party. We all had roast dinners which were top notch! Plenty of meat and a good variety of fresh, well cooked vegetables. Desserts were excellent, I had the crumble which was well presented and very tasty. The service was excellent and the staff were attentive and courteous. Would thoroughly recommend. We’ll done team High Corner!

Smashing weekend, cant wait to go back!High Corner Inn is a dog walkers paradise. We have enjoyed the New Forest for many years but never been here, well off the beaten track and dog walks in every direction! We stayed two nights with friends and were made to feel very welcome, food & drink very good, staff very friendly. The rooms were warm & comfortable (if a little tired)We understand there are plans to refurbish & extend, we really hope they don't loose the wonderful atmosphere!
