Inger-lises Coffee Bar in New Forest

First time being here after it was suggested by a friend. The location is stunning.Today was a lovely 18 Degree sunny day and we enjoyed our lunch outside. The food was very good and very nice staff. I think it’s a bit pricy but other than that I would come back maybe later this summer!

The small appetite portion of lasagna was OK. The main meal burger was very dry and the same size as a small appetite portion. Not great food I'm afraid compared to other New Forest pubs. We did mention it to the waitress, but nothing was really said or done about our dissatisfaction.

First time visited. Wasn’t disappointed. Nothing to complain about. Friendly and welcoming staff. Excellent value for money. Will definitely be back

Family meal for my 65th birthday, on 5th Feb 2022.Party of 13 , 2 babies and 1 dog. The food was excellent, very tasty, all served within moments of each other. Deserts were equally amazing. The Cherry bakewell cheesecake is the best cheesecake ever tasted. The staff are very friendly and service cannot be faulted. Highly recommended. Can't wait to visit again.

Great that the pub is open for food all day but our last two visits have been disappointing. The dish is pre-prepared we imagine and heated up, but has been tough or not quite cooked. Pots and veggies beside have been ok. Not as good as it used to be and we'll avoid in future.

An incredible polite and quick service. With the most amazing English food out there. A wonderful place to stop after long walks through the new forest!

Myself and my mother always go to this pub as the staff are amazing, very friendly, always attentive. The food is a great price and really tasty. Lovely atmosphere wish I could give it more stars.

Lunch inside today requested and got perfect table for 6 as l am still high risk health wise,(not as on the run ), I would like to thank all staff being welcoming friendly professionals. Drinks mains and desserts enjoyed in relaxing atmosphere = totally satisfied customers.

Wow, better than expected, with all the covid restrictions affecting seating and menu options. There was tons of seating, all distanced, inside and out. There was a good selection of main courses and lighter options. I had steak and ale pie, which was sublime, the chips done well. I knew it used to be a great place but delighted it still is.

I have booked for lunch on 15th August for 13 - 15 people for a 60th birthday (mixture of adults and children), so my husband and I decided to go today and have a look as he is disabled and wanted to make sure that he had enough room for his wheelchair. We spoke to Angie when we arrived and she was extremely helpful, showing us where we would be seated as well as showing my husband where the disabled toilets are, where the various ramps are etc.Whilst we were there we decided to have tea/coffee and I had a slice of the "cake of the day" which was carrot cake! I can honestly say I have not tasted a better one, it was extremely soft and moist as well as being a generous portion. I wish now I had taken a photo of it!All in all we were both very impressed and the setting is wonderful with loads of space for children to play.I will update this review after we have been there for lunch on 15th August.16/08/19 UPDATE: The lunch yesterday (15/08/19) was great! The food was perfect! All of us received our meals at the same time, it was hot and tasty! Everybody agreed that their food was good, the kids polished off theirs! My neice was impressed with the gluten free options and had the GF Dorset Apple Cake as well, said it was really soft and moist. We had a wonderful time and all 5 children loved the outdoor play area.I had a wonderful meal, good laughs, a 60th birthday celebration to remember!! We will definitely go back to The Rising Sun!Angie you're a star!!
