La Pergola in New Forest

Traditional Italian restaurant, with a lovely buzzing yet family style atmosphere. Our second visit and every bit as good as the first. Went for one of the steaks this time, followed by some delightful desserts. Certainly a great venue for a family treat or date night.

Well I love my Italian cuisine but finding authentic cuisine is often hard to come by. To my wonderful surprise this restaurant delivered on all counts, authentic Italian food, great service and they can cater for children with smaller sized pasta, pizza and adapting other meals. Delicious the only downside for us it isn’t locally but if you are well lucky you and if your visiting this has to be on the list.

A lovely Italian restaurant that checks all the boxes. I've been coming here for many years whenever a big family event occurred yet quality hasn't dropped even a tiny bit.For the starter, the bread is soft and delicious along with any small plates you order. The main meals are lovely with great portions and lots of flavour.As for the dessert, it's probably one of my favourite reasons for coming here. The waiters come around with cakes at the end of your meal and no matter which one you pick, they taste great. The pecan cheesecake or the tiramisu are amazing especially with a coffee or light tea.Always a great experience and excellent service.

Visited here for my birthday. WOW! Amazing food! Staff are wonderful, we were served by the lovely Romina, the manager Ruth, runs a professional, friendly team, who go out of their way to ensure excellent service. The deserts are incredible 👏We will be back. Definitely our favourite place to eat Italian 😊

Helpful staff and lovely food, we ate from their lunchtime menu and found the food well prepare and good value. Their sweets are quite big portions and very tasty. I would highly recommend a lunchtime visit, we will be going back again, as soon as we can fit it in.

This is hands down the best Italian restaurant that i have ever been to. We have eaten here on many occasions and the food has always been excellent. Its get very busy so I recommend that you book in advance. The puddings are all made on the premises and are amazing. can't wait to visit again.

Wow! Honestly THE MOST incredible steak I've ever hadBustling authentic atmosphere and quality produceOur waitress Stefania ( stef) was hugely knowledgeable able the vast menu and wine list and gave educated and spot on recommendations 👌Cannot fault

On a mini break, happened to find La Pergola by chance...can honestly say the food is very authentic, a true taste of Italy! The desserts were amazing too! High standard, quick and very pleasant service. Delicious food and generous portions! If I lived nearer I would make it my local! Hard to find authentic Italian food...from an Italian 😉
