There was a lack of atmosphere at this restaurant despite the efforts of the young waiting staff. In our party of four we all enjoyed our starters and main courses, but when it came to the desserts I can only describe them as pathetic. We didn't finish them.

As always, great tasting freshly prepared quality dining. Well done to the team in service never disappointed. 👏

We ordered meal for NYE they arrived without sides the restaurant is unresponsive I will update further. From the ingredients that were there there was a large grey hair in the wellington & the starters & mains were poor. Not a patch on Rick Steins delivery serviceIn response to the response, the answers were the same that the one I emailed you but you never replied to please see attached photo I also sent

Best choice restaurant in Milford-on-Sea. Simple and honest. Quality.Mushroom arancino as pre-starter was flavorful but a bit mushy. Excellent bread.Very tasty gravlax on a bed of tasteless spinach with Swedish style sweet mustard sauce. Blini doesn’t add. Skip leaves and blini and substitute with thin Danish or Åland style rye instead. Add pickled fennel or similar?Crispy chunky sea bass on a bed of semi mashed potatoes and braised broccoli over a deep rich bisque with crayfish bits. Balanced and tasty throughout. Spot on.Tortellini with intense mushroom in cream plus plentiful almost char-grilled broccoli tenderstem. Very good.Tried both deserts, very different but both excellent. Crunchy side splrinkle boosted both.Had four different wines by the glass. White pecorino was excellent, crisp and fresh. NZ Sauv Blanc tasted like a Riesling but OK. Two reds, Syrah and Malbec, were not impressive, both bland and ethanol dominating.Service was excellent. Overall very happy.

Wasn't very happy very expensive for what you get..tables should be dressed to high standard and better quality glasses and tables laid professionally... when 2 people are attending for dinner and it's just shy of £200..the dining experience should be 5 star. Felt this wasn't the case at all qe were very disappointed

Had the autumn menu at La Perle on Saturday and as ever, the food was on-point. Served over 4 hours, it was a delight not to be pressurised to vacate our table within an allotted time which so often happens in higher end restaurants these days. The autumn salad packed a punch and the confit egg yolk was a great accompaniment. Canapés and Palate cleanser were spot on (put the rum in!). Lobster ravioli and the Duck main were both excellent and the dessert lived up to its billing too.I don't do phones and cameras in restaurants so no flicks folks, trust me when I write that attention to detail and presentation was in abundanceAmy negatives I hear you hark… Tiny ones not worth the writing at this price! Exceptional value for money @ £60 per headAlthough I will miss La Perle’s Friday night take away offering (expecially the sausage), it was a genuine delight to enjoy a menu befitting the chef and restaurant!

What a great place! Great food, cooked to order. Warmly greated, and really friendly, also loved the owners cheeky nature to create atmosphere and report with customers. An absolute delight, can't wait for them to open fully so we get the full experience

Ordered a takeaway for 4 of us for my birthday and we certainly weren't disappointed. Despite traveling from the restaurant in Milford to New Milton the food was piping hot and beautifully cooked. Three of us had the fish and chips (it was Tuesday fish & chip night) which was tasty with no sign of grease. The chips were crispy on the otside and fluffy inside. We had sides of duck spring rolls- which my daughter said were the best she'd ever had; the red cabbage slaw was amazing and we had never tasted such lovely mushy peas. Will definitely be using this restaurant again.

Great food at a good price, they even brought it over to us waiting in the park. Very covid safe :)

Hidden gem. I had the spring tasting menu and was not expecting how good it was! Arrived around noon with only a few people there but within an hour it was pretty full - the service however did not suffer. Will definitely return.
