Went there on 18th June 2022 for family breakfast treat.Very disappointed they forgot one of the breakfasts I ordered. Then had to wait ages for it .They delivered customers food in a morrisons customer used shopping Trolley. Not very hygiene under the food hygiene regulations is it.Not to mention amount germs on the shopping Trolley. And me and my children were all very poorly with bad tummies after the food to.Wouldn't be coming back again.

Morrisons Totton, Southampton.Date of review: 22/06/2022I went here with my mother on the 18th of June for a breakfast, to start off the day. We were expecting the 2 full breakfasts that we ordered, to be served at the same time. Little did we know that they actually forgot to cook the second full breakfast, meaning that we had to wait an extra 10-15mins for the second one to be served. Let's not forget that the food was being delivered in a SHOPPING TROLLEY?! Yes you heard me, a shopping trolley. Probably the most unhygienic serving strategy ever that I have witnessed in the food industry. No matter how many times they may have cleaned that trolley, there's no doubt that it was smothered in bacteria. Bacteria, that most likely contaminated our food. Considering, a few days after, me and my mother felt unwell all of a sudden.Next we shall talk about the organisation of the staff. The service was absolutely poor. Food was served stone cold, as if it was left on the kitchen counter for ages. It didn't even feel like a breakfast. The bacon was full of pure fat. The staff were absolutely clueless on what they were supposed to do. Whilst everyone was in the kitchen, there was no one at the cashier taking orders. As we all know, this puts stress on the staff which, causes screw ups in peoples orders. Conclusion:If you want to come here for a meal, go at your own risk. Taking consideration of other peoples reviews, it is clear that their food isn't top-notch at all and that it's not worth the money. Hygiene is absolutely poor, as I stated with the situation in my first paragraph. It was so poor, that I was unwell for a few days with an upset stomach. Most likely from the poorly cooked food. Although there could be a staff shortage (?), that doesn't excuse the poor organisation of the workers. The workers are power-walking in and out of the kitchen, just so there can be someone to take orders at the cashier which, proves they're under pressure.Yours sincerely, customer of Morrisons Café

Incredibly slow service even when it was quiet; it took 40 minutes for our meals to arrive. The drinks machine was broken. The staff were rude. It was cold enough to wear a coat inside and to top it all, the food was still terrible. Now I've heard that Morrisons Cafe can be a bit hit or miss (and we do return every 6-9 months, hoping that it's improved); well Totton is consistantly a miss and its had it's last chance.

Decided to have lunch in this store today. Ordered fish and chips and a cheese burger and chips. Waited over 50 mins to be served. The chip were cold so all food was taken back to the kitchen, blasted in the microwave and returned. Chips pippin hot with the fish and burger over cooked and like rubber. Not normally like this but feel like a waste of money and time, new menu is lacking a bit like our experience.

Poor experience and terrible food but I give a slightly better two stars because the lady who showed us to our seat and the young lad who brought our food to us tried as hard as they could to be happy and helpful. We sat down hoping to order lunch but were told the only food was fish and chips. So we had that. Also none of the drinks machines were working except tea or coffee so had to make do. The food was pretty bad but very cheap so really not bothered but I won't be going back. Not recommended.

Depends on the time of day visit to cafe is made.Early morning and lunchtime can be very busy.Good food at very reasonable prices. A good menu for food and snacks throughout the day.Afternoon tea from 3pm children can eat free, this offer is for one child per adult and the adult meal is over £4.50.

Popped in for a light breakfast , so picked the easiest on the menu . Eggs on toast , couldn't have the poached today we were told , had they run out of eggs , no , fried or scrambled were available , perhaps no hot water it had to be . Ok we chose scrambled . The girl at the till was nice and polite and put our order through . It was a bit of a wait , ten minutes for the easiest order . It turned up and was it worth the wait ,,,no .The eggs maintained the shape of the container they were heated up in , not even fluffed up , so they had hard edges where they had sat in the container . And they were stone cold , as was the toast and not even buttered .You have to be a chef/cook of incredibly bad skill to mess this order up but they did it at Morrisons , totally awful food totally unemployable chef .
