Greasy. Very poor. For freshly cooked fish this was terrible.

Unfortunately the fish cod was grey inside and very small mostly batter. The chips were soggy and felt they had been left overs the price was very expensive.I do not recommend this fish and chip shop

Very disappointed, came to visit family from Hedge end Southampton,, website said open today, we arrive to find it closed. Spoilt the day, not a way to run a business.

Popped in for a takeaway for two around half five Saturday evening. Cod, chips, mushy peas, and curry sauce. Lovely piece of fish, nice light batter and well cooked. Chips were good too. Peas and curry sauce rounded everything off nicely. Efficient and friendly service, reasonably priced, and ready in an instant. Perfect !!

Absolutely revolting. The oil clearly hasn’t been changed for sometime. Both the lady and the man behind the fryer were miserable as sin.The whole place looks run down. If you want fish and chips go to the pubs in the area as this establishment is awful!!

You would think the world had ended, miserable guy on the fryer, fish was ok but the chips were the worst I’ve ever had, terrible!

We went here during our holiday. Is it the best takeaway in the world?? No. But for the money you pay it’s great I wouldn’t expect anything else. The people serving were really nice. Thank you for a nice supper

Popped in on the off chance. Super friendly people. Great sausage and chips with a curry sauce. Very happy.

Friendly welcome ☺ fast service.Nice hot fresh chips 😋. Fish not so good. It was edible. Stodgy batter. Not to my liking but I do appreciate that others do like batter like this.I Would visit again. Recommended.

Worst I've had in a long time, there large cod was about the same size as an OAP in my local, the batter was sad/mushy & the chips greasy & full of potato eyes.Only 2 versions of pie, steak & ale or chicken & mushroom.Won't be going back there again.Should have taken more notice of older reviews.
