Rainbow Fish Bar in New Forest

Lovely tea from lovely people. We really enjoyed our food and great options for those that don't eat meat but still fancy a chippy. Our little dog approved too of his sausage dinner 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿. Thanks again we'll be back next time we're in the Forest.

Ben going to the rainbow for quite a long time, went there on our wedding anniversary , then drove back to sussex for covid lock down, so we go there a lot now and sit on the forest to eat f@ c, what's better

Am staying in the area for a break. Went here today. We had cod and chips each. The chips were great, not too greasy. And the fish was flaky and very tasty. Best fish and chips we've had a for a long time. Thank you 😊

Good customer service. Swift turnaround, though pre made. 3 stars because I felt the fish had a huge excess of batter.

Great meal, opted for a Large Chips (perfect for 2 (somewhat greedy) people with plenty for seconds) and a Chicken burger. Great value, really great taste. Highly recommend.

Me + wife down from London for the week. Just did 2x cod & chips, curry sauce and a coke I barely got a sip of.V impressed! I reckon it was better than Borough Market which takes some beating. Would be chuffed to have this place as our local chip shop

Really, really good cod and chips. Cod is cooked to order, batter is crispy, chips are traditional chip shop type and all served in very generous portions. Highly recommended.

Chips were horrid & over cooked and shrivelled to point they had no insides and the portion Vs price is pathetic - less than a handful of chips in a small; and yes I read the sign saying you’re being charged more for the potatoes which is passed onto us but with a a drinks can for comparison and the so few chips in there, you can see my frustrations!Veggie burger was ok but certainly not worth £3.40!Speaking of money also seems I was over charged too from looking at your menu on line compared to what I was charged for 1 small chips, veggie with cheese and 4xcans is £10.50 not the £11.70 I was chargedSeriously disappointing to say the least and wasn’t worth the wait of nearly half an hour at all!I don’t like leaving negative reviews but I’m sad to say I had to speak up on this occasion - let’s hope it’s a one off eh!!!
