Excellent meal. Great flavours and spices. Very hospitable and friendly staff. Would highly recommend.

This is an outstanding Indian restaurant. Probably the best I have ever visited. The food was stunning. The service was excellent. The venue was smart and yet informal. Overall an extremely impressive offer.

Food was OK, staff were nice, but the price was extortionate. Ie the house red was £26 for a bottle the tandoori mixed grill was £18 a meal for two including a bottle of house red was £70. The problem here is Lymington is a middle class town and it's obviously considered OK to rip the people off, We live in a good area about a half an hour from London and the prices are half that of here and the quality twice as good!

First the positives. Decent ambience and attentive staff. Now for the food. I am very surprised that many people think this is "authentic" indian food. We had 3 different dishes here and none tasted like the food that you get in India. It felt like the chef started with most of the ingredients that were needed, added lots of mustard oil and then forgot to properly fry the spices or the vegetables. The paneer gravy was a dull pink in colour :)). And to add to the issue, the dishes are quite pricey. The poppadum/papad starter came with 4 pots of dips which included a coconut chutney!!! Good lord. And we found out that the dips were charged at 1£ per pot after we got the bill. Charging for papad dips!? Thats sacrilege for an Indian restaurant. So if you are an Indian looking for typical indian tastes I would not recommend. For someone who has not really tasted authentic indian food i suppose its ok to try it out.

Another superb high quality meal at this wonderful restaurants. Led by the indefatigable BT welcoming Shah and his excellent team who provide top notch service and outstanding food.

Amazing food and service. UK “Indian” restaurants do not usually do good Indian food, especially outside of London or Birmingham but this little gem in Lymington was as authentic as they come. The Paneer Bangalore was delicious and the spicy Makhni with Chicken was very tasty. I will come back when I’m next in the area.

Didn’t really live up to the high expectations. Very good service, although the meals were very dry, lacking flavour and sauce it was crying out for. Not very impressed.

·

Probably the best Indian we have ever had. The flavours were incredible, the service was amazing and we would definitely recommend. Great meal, great atmosphere and worth every penny! Thank you to the whole team at Rivaaz

Truly exceptional. This is way beyond an Indian Restaurant. The food was phenomenal. Menu items I've never seen before. The Tandoori platter starter was sizzling and delicious. I had the Rajasthan Lamb, for main, every flavour was discernible, tasty with just the right heat.Service was attentive and polite.Cannot recommend this place enough.

Experienced authentic Indian cuisine here in luxurious surroundings. They were very busy for a lunch time but the service was outstanding. The staff were friendly and attentive and the restaurant was modern with very nice touches!
