Steff's Kitchen in New Forest

Love Steffs Kitchen and have been eating there for many years. Always good food and usually very friendly service. Today I have marked down a star purely because of a very officious lady I have never seen before. She appeared to be in charge. We sat outside at 11:58 where she came over to tell us it was too early to order lunch as we couldn't do that until 12:00. OK. Fair enough, a little bit 'jobs worth' but, as she tried to walk away we asked if we could order drinks. Apparently this was OK although not offered in the first place. Tea arrived at 12:08 and we ordered lunch. However this lady carried on telling off staff because of silly little things that really didn't matter in front of customers which we thought was most unprofessional. Such a shame as we usually have such friendly staff serving. Food was fantastic as always, just this one little blip.

Super tasty cakes that tempt me every time I come to Fairweathers garden centre.A great selection of cakes and scones. There are even a good selection of gluten free treats!

Staffs kitchen within fair weather garden centre in Beaulieu was our first visit today.It was fairly busy but we were seated straight away and our drinks orders taken. A comprehensive menu with plenty of choice.Food arrived without much delay and was tasty and fresh.After eating we had a good wander around the garden centre itself.Good variety of plants, pots and all the extras you would expect.Inside there is a very good gift shop with everything from cushions to coasters.Good food, well staffed and plenty to look at, if you’re nearby drop in.

Loved the to go cafe !! Simply the best hot chocolate ever. I cannot recommend the orange hot chocolate and the mint one with cream enough. It is so smooth, warming and is worth travelling just to have it.

Ive been plenty of times here and I've not been disappointed. Plenty of seating with room to move around. Clean toilets. Help yourself to water in a bottle provided at the water station. Different choices of specials each week as well as a standard menu. Club sandwich was tasty and very filling with crunchy chips. Lovely large sized cakes. The Christmas Turkish delight cake was amazing. Definitely worth a visit.

Visited Steff’s kitchen while we were staying in the New Forest in January. We walked from Bucklers Hard so we were famished by the time we got there ! Had a lovely club sandwich and chips - very well catered for my Gluten Free needs. Quick and efficient service - highly recommended 👍🏻

Came here after a cold walk around Beaulieu, nice friendly atmosphere and attentive staff. Lovely food and a great hot drink selection

Really good food choices. Lovely sitting area outside over the road.No indoor seating.Helpful staff.The lunch was enhanced by lots of garden birds picking at the crumbs (hence the picture). Just stopped for sandwich but was very nice experience.Local produce were possible.Recommend

Cute coffee shop and bakeryWe had some lovely sourdough plus had a couple of nice coffees. Will definitely go again

Stumbled across this amazing place. Its not just a kitchen, but also a garden and gifts centre - its got the whole package for an afternoon brunch/lunch and maybe some gardening. The staff were very nice and the food was great. Dont forget to try their many selection of homemade cakes!
