The Bakehouse in New Forest

One of the best scones and Belgium Bun I have ever had. It’s the place to go in Brockenhurst ….!!!

Big variety of pastries. It tastes really good but there is still work to do in terms of flavour.

We regularly visit Brockenhurst and The Bakehouse as their rolls, subs and cakes are excellent. However. this visit was marred by the girl that served us. She was rude, unfriendly and failed to say thank you. I understand that this is a very busy bakery but if she doesn't enjoy working in that environment then maybe its time for a career change. There are many people who live locally that would love a job in The Bakehouse. Stand aside and let someone with some customer service skills have your job.

I can not describe how gorgeous my cheese and onion pasty and fresh cream chocolate eclair was. Absolutely delicious! Seriously! They were both enormous which is great for my appetite, and very reasonably priced. As close to perfect as a pasty and cake could be.I popped in last week while driving through Brockenhurst, I will be going out of my way to come back soon.

Entered the shop with my small dog (didn't see a sign and a member of staff I was speaking with didn't say anything) and a few minutes later whilst I was ordering an incredibly rude lady which I assume was the owner started shouting NO DOGS, 3 times in a row. Very unprofessional, we left without buying anything. We won't go back or recommend this place to anyone.

Quick stop of on way to have a picnic. Sausage rolls . Bacon and cheese turnover . Doughnuts and more .... ALL DELICIOUS. A bit of a queue moved very quickly . Warm welcome From staff .Very good value great choice proper bakery will return ..

Unbelievably difficult not to buy one of everything! I am not a fan of doughnuts but these are by far the best you'll ever have. The custard filled ones .....!! They do well fired morning rolls, if your scottish, you'll ken.

Delicious!!... Went and got the wife a bacon and cheese hot baguette...god it was soo good I want another one! But had to settle for the one. You have to be quick as when we got there, there was a big queue outside! But moved quite quickly, lots of options available pies, sandwiches drinks etc etc can get carried away! 🤣...all great prices too!! Disabled friendly, parking down the road! And plenty of places to go eat by the forest etc!... 5*

We go here probably once a week. We pop in on the way to a beach walk and it is always excellent. Everything freshly cooked, traditional bread and cakes, pies etc.Great value sandwich/roll deal every day for £2.80 with large cake, filled roll and a drink/can of named brand soft drink.Always friendly and busy. I could not fault the place, even if i tried, just the best place around.
