The Bat and Ball in New Forest

Service was good. The food was delicious. They serve local ales and lagers and have good branded ales. The updated menu is on their facebook page. The grilled menu is a must try. Comes with an additional 10% service charge which is optional, very grateful we were offered the chance to waive it, but we did not simply because they deserved it. Honestly, a must try for this area.

Stopped for lunch on father's day so probably not a good example of what it's typically like. Very busy but overall staff seemed to cope OK. There was a mistake on our food order but they sorted that out. Food and beer were good but the typical microwave, grill or deep fat fryer style. Certainly a good place to go as a group or family.

Very good place to have a lovely food. Has very good for to have outdoor food as well. Have live music as well.

Amazing food 👍we all loved it 😁 friendly staff with a relaxed happy atmosphere and a look at the home grown fruit, veg and herbs out the back so impressive, cannot wait to go again 🥂

Had a late Sunday lunch, food was great. We had the babotie and it was really delicious.

We had a family meal with each of us having a different choice. I had Roast Beef, Yorkshire pudding and roast potatoes on a plate that did not have room for any vegetables, a side dish with plenty of well cooked vegetables, the meat was tender and tasty and everything else was really good. We were all enjoyed our meals and the staff were friendly and attentive.

Really delicious food. Our mains and puddings were all really tasty, good attention to detail. Neck oil on tap. Helpful, friendly staff. Very impressed.

We had a delicious Sunday Roast dinner, and the restaurant was very nice too. We dined outside, so the supplied blankets and overheat heater were added bonuses.

It was our second visit to this lovely pub on the way back from seaside.Service & food top class 👌 The best thing is their garden facilities which makes an experience eating with kids hassle free. Great garden & complimentary games kept our little ones occupied for 3h ! Bliss !We will definitely be back again & recommending to our Friends & Family. Thank you Bat & Ball Team x
