Fabulous food, attentive and non-intrusive serving team. Thoroughly enjoyed a really well cooked and prepared meal.Recommend the Pappardelle Pasta with sun-dried tomatoes and the Raspberry Parfait.

We visited for food this evening. The atmosphere was lovely, an elegant restaurant. Staff was friendly and welcoming. We tried the pork belly and the papardelle with sundried tomatoes and goat's cheese. Both dishes were excellent. We also had a passion fruit creme brulee and a summer brioche pudding for dessert. The pudding was very much appreciated, I personally felt the passion fruit was overpowering and too sharp for my taste.

We had decided to book our 50th wedding anniversary at this Inn based on a couple of occasions of dining there. Those involved in our planning were extremely helpful and very accommodating. Our guests enjoyed their stay. The rooms were beautifully presented.

Phoned booked a table for afternoon tea, checked in shown to table asked what drinks we said teas and coffees as booked for afternoon tea. Tea came up then waitress appears and says sorry you need to book 24 hours in advance for tea! I said I rang and booked and was not told that at the time or we would not of driven 40 minutes to get here!! We can do sandwiches - 40 minutes later sandwiches came up by then two kids getting fidgeting, all ok but my grandson hated the fillings and had just a bowl of chips. Not what we planned and all avoidable. We will not be back

We stayed here just for one night, but loved this place very much! This hotel staff was so friendly and polite, room was nice and tidy with big size and good quality towels😍 they also serve sophisticated dinner. Lamb with some Indian sauce was amazing! There is a room for improvement in a variety of ciders, especially dry, but it’s about most places in the UK))

Great pub food. Nice sandwiches and friendly staff. Lots of space especially in garden. Also very very dog friendly- we have a German Shepard. Thoroughly recommend!

We had such a good stay at The Bell Inn. The room was great (with a huge comfy bed!) and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They made us and our dog feel very welcome! We will definitely be staying again in the future.

Lovely afternoon tea in a relaxed atmosphere. Gluten-free option for those who needed it. We all had a lovely fun time. Would go again. 👍

This is a really nice small hotel, with well presented bedrooms. The rooms are kitted out with some great stuff, like a 60" television full size kettle (not the standard hotel dinky ones.) and bathrooms with full size baths and good quality showers. This continues through the hotel. The bar is a warm inviting place and the barman has a very happy out look which reflects on all. The dining room again is fantastic and the staff are friendly and attentive without being noticed. The food is also fantastic, and the specials which included a drink is a winner. If you want to stay down in the new forest this is the place to go
