Very warm and welcoming and appeared popular with those from the village as everyone seemed to know each other which is always nice. Priced pretty much as expected, was busy but just enough space to get us seated. Would recommend.

Stopped off in Brockenhurst for something to eat at lunchtime and luckily chose The Buttery...Friendly staff, great food and clean non-sticky tables...I would highly recommend eating here if you are in the area...

We went on Sunday about 16:00. It was very busy. The staff were off their feet but they never complained or huffed stayed professional and smiling. Although we waited a while to be served, the food was lovely and at reasonable price

Busy cafe in the centre of Brockenhurst. Had BLT and my husband found a huge piece of gristle which put him off. Other than that, it was very nice .

On our tour of tea rooms of the New Forest, we found that these tea room was very delightful and not too expensive.The staff were all very friendly and provided excellent service.The coffees were of a generous size.The scones were also of good size but could have been a bit softer and warmer but they came with delicious cream and jam provided.

Okay, there's a massive issue here and it's the front of house serving. No organisation, ordering is in chaos. We had been sitting for at least 10 minutes, a waitress asked if we'd ordered, we said no, she then cleaned two tables next to us, walked off never to be seen again. Eventually I went up to the counter to be told to go back to my seat and then a waitress came and eventually took our order. The same happened to the couple opposite, the lady went up to the till after sitting there for 10-15 minutes, she returned to her seat. In the mean time a family came in and sat next to us. They were served almost straight away. This caused the young couple to get up and walk out in disgust. Another table had some of their order forgotten.Once the order is in and the food arrives it is absolutely lovely, but this cafe/tea room is in DESPERATE need of a front of house manager and some organisation. God knows how much business the owner is losing. The one lady who really seemed switched on didn't have a name tag, but was young with a nose piercing. I feel without her the place would fall into total chaos.

One of the best breakfasts I have had. Fresh bread toast, lovely bright yoke eggs, sausages and mushrooms taste amazing. Definitely worth a visit.

We were there in that short window around 11am, between when their breakfast and lunch menus were operating, so the selection available was relatively limited, but their scones--both the sweet and savoury varieties--were excellent, and very fresh. Recommended.
