A really lovely cliff edge restaurant with sea views to The Isle of Wight. A comfortable and quirky interior. The food was delicious and we’d recommend the beer battered haddock. The Caesar salad is a little basic for the price. They are a sister restaurant to The Lighthouse in Milford and we’ve already been there before and would recommend it!

We had a very good meal with our friends the food was excellent, the service a bit slow but they were VERY busy so not unexpected. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back for another meal. I give them five stars stars.

The recent refurbishment of this cliff top restaurant (and hotel) warrants an improved 4 star rating. The menu has been similarly updated as have the prices, but with the added problems caused to the restaurant sector following "Covid", this is perhaps understandable. The restaurant has wonderful views over the West Solent, not just from the outside eating area, and there is ample car parking. The quality food and drink can be enjoyed in the pleasant surroundings.

Beautiful evening meal. Friendly and attentive staff. Lovely position overlooking the beach. Would recommend and go back

Great little restaurant, 8 lovely quality food, slightly larger portions would have got a 5. My smoked chicken breast starter didn't have enough smoked chicken to cover a Ritz cracker! a little on the pricey side especially drinks. Saying that however, it's a lovely location with outside options in the day time.

New menu is delicious. The Cliffhouse is the the best vibe locally for sure. Staff are fun but attentive. Family have stayed multiple times and will continue to do so.

Went there for lunch one July afternoon and were very impressed with the view , quality of food and the friendly staff. Looks like it’s a family run business and it’s shows from the effort they put in to the attention to detail of the food and the friendliness of the staff. The coronation chicken sandwich I had with the lovely thick chips we’re delicious and the churros are homemade I was told and were the best I have ever tasted. That’s saying something for me considering I can be a very fussy food eater. Definitely be back there again for more occasions and will take family and friends there.

Great place to visit at all times of the year. Lovely bar and restaurant with lovely food and a great view of the sea. Really friendly bar staff, recently visited the alpine bar for the evening and love all the effort the staff went to, to make it feel really festive!

Had a 2 night stay at the Cliff House for a family birthday. Our room the white room was small but cosy bed was superb and comfortable with nice linen ,lovely and clean with lots of teas and coffees . Sea views . We had a mass family dinner Saturday and the food was excellent and good value. Staff throughout our stay where friendly and helpful 5 Stars for them. Noise could be heard from the bar in our room loudly until the punters went home then replaced with a rumbling boiler. second night I slept better. Breakfast both days was excellent with proper pork sausages thick toast as mainly refills as you like, served by great staff. We had a great time I would definitely go back but choose another room

Excellent. Friendly, efficient and good food. Had the biggest piece of cod outside of New Zealand. Not big as in big portion. The flakes of the fish were huge, meaty and moist. Delicious.
