Brilliant pub in a great location. We visit most years. This time we had an evening meal. The menu had plenty of classic pub choices. Food was quick but also great quality. Service was great!! See you next year

Lovely pub nice and friendly. Good beer and a good selection of pub food. Menu could perhaps cater more for those who suffer with allergies such as wheat and gluten. But overall a pub well worth a visit

Amazing food it really is one of the best pubs in Dorset for that, great location too! Not quite 5 stars as I was a little disappointed by the beers on tap, no premium lager available!Everything else was top notch!

Nice pub. Very busy when we went, but reserved a table, so it was fine. Despite how busy it was the food arrived quickly and the bar served drinks quickly.There were lots of different options for food, which is a plus.It also has a small play park for children, so that's handy if you're a parent.

Went here for a meal with my husband. Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, good food. The biggest problem was choosing what to have for our meal. Eventually hubby chose the lamb shank and I went for the slow roast pork belly. Generous portions and very tasty!

Beautiful pub with huge menu. Lovely staff who took great care of us. The food was fantastic as was the service. Look out for the house cat Sassy, she is a real charmer :)

Stopped here for a quick drink whilst out cycling. Quite a busy pub managed to find an outside table to sit in the sun. Spoke to a member of staff to order a drink and she said she just had one more person to serve first. Came back ordered and supplied a drink within a couple of minutes Very pleasant sitting watching the horse. We watched the food coming out and it looked really nice. Would definitely return when in the area.
