Fabulous cafe/diner/restaurant in the middle of Lyndhurst High Street. Attentive and friendly staff, lovely food in Nice surroundings, inside and outside seating. I had a large Eggs Benedict brunch and my partner had the Spanish Omelette which we both enjoyed, but we will be back for their amazing looking pizzas which most people who ordered around us could not fih and were given a takeaway box. The garlic breads were pretty large too. A wonderful establishment and well worth a visit as not expensive either.

The Forage Lyndhurst High St - Father's DayAs a family we are so pleased to have cone across this restaurant nestled in the heart of the New Forest. We have now visited the Forage Retaurant a few times and the welcome is always warm and genuine. The restaurant is EXCELLENT, the quality of food TERRIFIC.....but most of all the service is EXCEPTIONAL.Today (19th June 2022) was Fathers Day and my wife and 4 daughters treated me to lunch (my son was away on holiday). We arrived at 1pm sharp and shown to our table by the owner Zack/Iwona......both lovely warm people who put customers first, that's why the restaurant is busy with repeat custom. We all enjoyed Pizza and deserts. We enjoyed the food and atmosphere. For anyone visiting the Lyndhurst area the Forage is not to be missed for breakfast, brunch or lunch.....and evening meal.Zack and the team have done a fabulous job of making the restaurant a memorable and great place to visit. My family loved meeting everyone. Thanks again....we will see you soonJulian & Amanda (and family)

Popped in for a quick lunch. Was buzzing with people but we were seated very quickly. The staff are friendly and attentive. Some great choices on the menu. The food quality was to a very reasonable standard, and came out very quickly considering the amount of people. Nice feel to the place. Clean and tidy. Would definitely eat here again.

Beautiful spot on the high street with an amazing back garden for dining in the sunshine (when it appears). The food was incredible, with my Eggs Blackstone (bacon instead of ham) ordered with extras of halloumi and avocado coming out well presented and tasting delicious! The amount of food was also exceptional, with my entire party coming away stuffed! Also, try the coffee, it's out of this world!

Was passing by and decided to stop in for lunch. They quickly found us a table. The staff were friendly and the service was very fast we had our food (albeit) sandwiches really quickly. The food was tasty and well prepared and the prices seem fair. The place itself has a nice atmosphere and was clean and tidy.

Wow what a find as we were just passing. The food was amazing, highly recommend the Chicken Alfredo & garlic bread.... delicious & a really good size portion, enough to take some home. Added bonus is they're dog friendly! We'll be back sometime.

Service and attention was great, but the food in taste was average. As my partner described, the pizza was non descript. He had the meaty one. It was ok, but English sausage on it and sparse ingredients made it not worth the £15-16 they're asking for it. I had the four cheese pizza, the blue cheese was overpowering and could not taste any other cheeses. Would not go back for pizzas here

We had breakfast here on a Sunday morning. It has good reviews and was busy but they don't take bookings. We were fortunate to get a table, but despite being full, the service was excellent and quick. It is table service and they took drinks orders first. The coffees and teas were fine but we were really impressed by the food. All six of us thought the quality was great and good sized portions. Price and presentation were good.Dog friendly and one of the main car parks is just across the road, you'll have to pay for parking in Lyndhurst. Very central location to see the rest of the town.

A really pleasant evening spent with friendly attentive service in a comfortable casual atmosphere. My compliments to the chef for fool that was not only well presented but more importantly tasted wonderful. The mushroom starter was particularly noteworthy.

Whilst on holiday I came here with my partner to celebrate my birthday. We hadn't booked a table but luckily they were able to accommodate us!The food was excellent, we shared some warm bread and oil for our starter, which was very filling. I opted for the beef fajitas for my main which again was great and my partner had the pepperoni pizza 🍕 She couldn't finish it all so they gave us a pizza box to take it home in so it didn't go to waste.Although at this point we were very full, we were able to make some room for their delicious desserts. We had a slice of the salted caramel cake and the honeycombe toffee cheesecake, the pictures don't do it justice so you'll have to pop in to try them for yourself. We enjoyed it so much that we popped back the next day for our breakfast before heading home, again the food was wonderful. The servers are all very friendly and the owner/manager made us feel very welcomed. If we're in the area again we would definitely come back here.
