Where is The Gun Inn?
🏠Keyhaven Rd, Keyhaven, Milford on Sea, Lymington SO41 0TP
"We are pleased to confirm that The Gun Inn in Keyhaven is now under the Management of Pelican Taverns Limited. In the medium term we plan a general renovation, but for the time being we intend to open the public bar, after a little spruce up, when current restrictions allow."

Not obvious from the outside, but a welcoming pub with a good food offer. Outside seating under a large shade sail. A good end point to a sea side walk. It's adjacent to the P&D car park which is ÂŁ1 per hour (Mar '22).

Beer choice ok, tho' limited choice, if you don't want lagers.Food looks good but is expensive for pub grub.New management have done well to improve ambiance without destroying character.Maybe would appeal to different patrons than previously. Certainly changed from first visit 55years ago!

Nice pub situated at Keyhaven with a country feel to it. Plenty of covers inside and a great outdoor seated area with a large canopy covering in the centre and benches surrounding. Nice place to eat and dunk with friendly staff. Entertainment scheduled for the summer, with an open mic night coming up in March.

After a very long and beautiful walk from Keyhaven Amenity Car Park to Milford on Sea and from there to Hurst Castle on a cold Sunday afternoon it was great to finish the day with drinks and some amazing food in The Gun Inn.We were a party of 6 and all of us were extremely happy with the very well presented quality food.It was delicious. The pub itself is really nice and the staff super friendly, I can’t wait to visit again sometime very soon.Dog friendly.

Cozy and quaint local pub. Friendly and helpful staff. We visited in the evening so I didn't get to see the view. The dry-aged beef burger is the best I've ever had!!! The beef used was of the highest quality. The bacon on the burger was cooked perfectly (no chewy fat, just perfectly rendered), eye-rolling tasty, sweet and smokey. The shmear of bacon jam on the brioche bun....need I go on?! The truffle fries were hot, crisp and delicious. If you are looking to indulge your burger cravings, look no further!

The food here is incredible. Even the smoked broccoli tasted amazing. Highly recommend as one of the most delicious and unique pub menus I’ve ever had. The pub has also been recently renovated and is very smart. The wild flower meadow in the garden is also a. Ice touch. Thank you for an excellent afternoon.

Lunch at The Gun today was as I expected- first class - I know the chef from his previous venue and love his passion for serving great quality locally sourced food. A selection of starters shared amongst a group is a great way to sample the menu but equally the mains are fantastic. Four star only because we thought the wines were a little too expensive.
