We haven’t been here for some time because of Covid and other factors. The pizzas are new so we tried them (2 for 1 Mondays and Thursdays) and we’re very impressed, they’re the best I’ve had for years, including some in Italy (I had the spicy chicken one with stuffed edge). The staff were very pleasant too so this could be a regular event now - excellent value!

Came for father's Day all you can eat breakfast. Staff were lovely, food was ok, would've liked mushrooms and scrambled eggs as an option and the fried bread was so hard I couldn't eat it, it would be good to knock out your enemies though 😉🤣.

Met some good friends today and went to haywain. We all had carvery which was served by a lovely lady chef . Meat potatoes and vegetables very tasty and plentiful. Service was excellent by all staffGood value for money.100%visit again.

Our experiences at the Haywain have been spot on always a friendly face, very often George who makes us feel very relaxed with his wonderful sense of humour. All staff are very helpful & obliging. Can't fault anything with the restaurant, service, food & cleanliness even the toilets are pleasing & fresh. I do feel bad but there is one part that is not up standard & that is the garden!! I enjoy after a nice relaxing lunch to take coffee in the garden listening to the birds but it truly looks dangerous with fence panels missing plus long dirty grass by the children's area. Small children could easily run into parking area. I regret having to spoil review because the restaurant is superb & we dine 4 or 5 days a week - partners name is LYONS known to staff who are delightful, particularly George. Please get the boys in to turn garden over.

Hi, I am posting this on behalf of Ivan and Irene. They were served by Carolina when they went and would just like to say that she is always polite and attentive, and very good at making floater coffees. They really enjoy coming and eating here so thank you!!

Love the pizzas, chicken burger was good too but my favourite is the roast, it's delicious and tastes homemade and i haven't had to be a slave to the kitchen to eat it! Hats off to the chefs and Rebecca, she's a star, everytime I've been she's friendly, happy and always smiling. Thoroughly recommend that you pay them a visit

Hadn't been to the haywain for a few years due to a few rude staff, but that seems to have completely changed for the better these days. Our server Carolina was very efficient at ensuring our experience went smoothly and provided great customer care to myself and my family. I'd like to personally highlight Carolina for her great energy and ability to create a warm, welcome and positive environment no matter the situation. If this is the new haywain standard then myself and others will definitely be returning, it's much better than when we visited a few years prior. Five stars, and thankyou again to Carolina for taking great care of us and changing our views on the haywain for the better.

Waited a long time for drinks only to have something floating in one of them. Food didn't take too long after that. Roast was nice but the burger could have been better. Finished our food and were intending to have pudding but no one even came to clear our plates. We waited for 20 minutes but the staff seemed more interested in socialising with each other then attending to there customers. In the end we decided it wasn't worth waiting who knows how long for some deserts and decided to just leave.
