We stopped for a coffee on a Sunday. It’s located in the village of Burley, we walked there so not sure if they have a car park but there is a large car park in the village. We sat outside which is undercover & there is a small heater, which we shared with a robin & a dunnock!Inside is like a cottage with small rooms & low ceilings but very comfortable.Staff were good & attentive.

Used to come here as kids every summer when it was the Manor Farm Tea Rooms back in the 80s!Still has a lot of the old character and offered what I would say was good value for money, food was delicious and big portions, especially the jacket potato.Dropping a star for the (in my view) unnecessary piping through of the Jeremy Vine show on Radio 2, discussing depressing news at a volume that was slightly above "background".

I didn't go inside for very long - will do that later - but the people were very friendly, the food very good and the prices reasonable. Having said that, and this is a general comment not one directed to this particular place, the English don't seem to like herbs and garlic so make sure that you get a sachet of salt...

Had such a bad experience here recently that we left before we ordered due to the rudeness of the staff.I am gluten free and dairy free (allergies) and the menu doesn’t have any symbols for what I could order (apart from the obvious such as gluten free bread available and the vegan options were highlighted). I asked a member of staff for the allergen sheet and he didn’t say anything just looked at a woman who was sat down (maybe manager?) who really spoke down to me and said that they don’t give it out and that I don’t need it as there are lots of options on the menu. I tried to explain that sometimes food may sound allergen free for me but then not be for one reason or another. She refused to give me the sheet although claimed they had it in the kitchen (hmm) so I gave up and went to sit down but my partner had overheard the conversation and was not happy so we left and went elsewhere where we were treated much better! I have never had an experience like this before.

A very nice older world tea room. If you are tall mind your head. The coffee is good, they have a range of herbal teas and the standard cakes are good.

It was a beautiful restaurant I visited today for breakfast. Amazingly clean with convenient parking and access. The building itself seems an art. Old structure has been beautifully maintained and tradition of typical English cutlery, fireplace and ceilings have been kept with love. Toilets were clean. Food was fresh and delicious- a value for money. Staff was welcoming and friendly. I’d definitely recommend this place.

We had a lovely meal here today. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and fitted us in for lunch last minute. We were sat by the fire which was lovely and cosy, and the building itself was beautiful with the old beams still showing. The food was delicious too and reasonably priced, we will definitely be visiting here again!

We popped in for a late lunch a month or so ago and was totally impressed with the food, staff and beautiful building so, today we went for a bike ride and planned it so we visit again and we weren’t disappointed. Thank you for a great service and lovely food and value for money. We will be back soon x

A big thank you to the Old Farmhouse for the delicious gluten free cream tea. Simply the best gf scones. We will be back.
