What a lovely place to hold a wedding or party. Excellent grounds with lovely places to stroll. Plenty of parking with an overflow car park.

Beautiful venue in a country setting. The staff are all very attentive and friendly.My husband was a best man at our gorgeous friends wedding and we were very lucky to be given one of the rooms to stay in. One of the most comfortable beds I've slept in. Everything is so clean and tidy. The house is tastefully decorated with a rustic look and feel. The grounds are pretty and tidy.I would fully recommend this venue for any special events.

I originally left 5 stars three years ago when I first visited to consider this venue as where my wife and I were to get married, I told myself I'd come back to add a review when the wedding was all out of the way, it's a shame it took 3 years but my god it was so worth the wait.The Coordinator Laura ran the show and ensured that we had zero worries all of yesterday. The venue itself is beautiful and that's without any of the decorations being taken into consideration. We loved every second of our wedding and we're excited as to our next adventure. Thank you Old Vicarage for being that first step 😀😀😀

Absolutely cannot fault the team at the old vicarage. They are so well organised and helpful. Made our wedding so special making sure everything went smoothly and the house and grounds are absolutely stunning!

We had our wedding here 30th Sept 2021.The venue is beautiful, the staff are amazing and can't help enough.We had a bbq package and the food was amazing.Would recommend to anybody as a wedding venue

We just wanted to say a massive thank you to The Old Vicarage Country House for the best wedding day EVER!!! It was absolutely everything we could have hoped for and more. This hasn't been the easiest year to organise a wedding, but from the moment we first booked the venue, all the way through to the big day, the staff have been an incredibly helpful, patient and an absolute pleasure to work with. We had so many compliments from our guests about how gorgeous the venue was, how stunning the gardens and marquee were and how the whole day seemed to have a very sweet, relaxed and intimate atmosphere. The rooms that our family and friends stayed in were immaculate and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the very tasty breakfast the next morning. Honestly wouldn't have changed a single detail, everything was just perfect and we really do feel like we had our dream wedding. Thank you so so much, Mr. and Mrs Salter

We held our wedding at The Old Vicarage at the start of September this year, it was absolutely flawless from start to finish. The staff there are incredibly professional and worked seamlessly behind the scenes to ensure everything ran smoothly on the day. The grounds are expansive and stunning. The food (roast pork) was also incredible, a lot of our guests commented on it during the day.All in all a wonderful experience to remember forever, and I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make us welcome. Afternoon tea was lovely with proper clotted cream 🙂 The venue is beautiful with lots of space for kids to run around ( assuming the weather is good). Didn't quite rate this as five stars as the quality of food etc whilst good was not exceptional. I do however consider The Old Vicarage as very good value for money.

Wonderful venue for a wedding. Loved the open, beautiful spaces around the building. Very well looked after.

Superb venue for a special occasion - ours was a christening reception.Lovely main building and the extensive and mature gardens are stunning with lots of various little nooks and features to make it a veritable wonderland - especially for children!Staff were lovely too. :-)Only gripe (for which it doesn't get the 5* treatment) is that the food was not quite on par with the rest of the quality provided and experienced for the price they charge per head.
