The Redshoot in New Forest

Friendly and helpful staff, good service. We were made to feel very welcome. Food was nicely presented and well cooked. Love the location. Does get noisy as there are few soft furnishings to absorb the sound. People sitting around the bar made it awkward to get served. Landlady/ manageress was lovely.

I admire them for cooking such good food while they are located so far from bussy places . Customer service was just there and outstanding ! We will visit again and enjoy the cosy atmosphere and amazing food . Don't miss to chek out on this Restaurant/PUB .

Cracking pub with loads of space, friendly service and great food! Had the Beef and ale pie and the local pie - huge portion and loads of gravy! Dog friendly, good ales and you'll often see the wild ponies running past

Just arrived home from a fantastic 6 night stay at Red Shoot. All the staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. All the facilities are very clean and the whole park was spotless! The shop is well stocked, our son enjoyed the play area and sandpit. Having the pub right at the site entrance was a big bonus too!! We were fortunate enough to be there to celebrate the Queens Platinum Jubilee and the team hosted a great afternoon tea. We would highly recommend this site and we will certainly be back!

Really impressed by the gluten free menu options. I had ham egg and chips becauseit was a hot day. The ham was really delicious. The staff were really friendly and we loved the setting, watching the cows roaming down the lane.

We visited as a pre-arranged work event and had a buffet style lunch. The team were very accommodating and it was easy to arrange for a large number. A beautiful setting and the food was perfect for our group of hungry cyclists! Would highly recommend as a great stop on a cycle ride or walk.

We visited for lunch on Easter Sunday with our two large dogs. Just to say a huge thank you to the land lady for giving us a table away from other dogs. We had a lovely meal and we'll definitely be back soon. Also bar staff were very friendly.

We really enjoyed coming across this forest pub. It's was full of atmosphere and cosy knooks. The food was excellent and the staff were willing to ensure you had great service. We will be back. .

Second visit to here, after accidentally coming across this awesome place a few years back while visiting the New Forest.What a little gem it is an hasn't changed a bit, the food is still delicious & the staff friendly and polite, will be back again next time in the New Forest
