Beautiful food, just delicious though very limited menu. Varied bar menu. Loveliest staff you will meet.

Very nice tapas bar . Very comfortable and the staff make you feel welcome It was busy and people were coming in and out while we were there.The was a good menu.

I held a surprise Birthday Party for my Dad here in the upstairs room. Cliff and his staff couldn't have been more helpful from day 1. Nothing was too much trouble. They even put up the banners and balloons for us, as I couldn't with bringing my Dad there. The food was gorgeous. We had a buffet with curry. Rice and wedges, pork pies and sausage rolls, sandwiches, chicken drumsticks and spring rolls. It was so tasty. I'd highly recommend this place. Great selection of beers, lagers. Cocktails and ciders. Thank you so much.

Superb bar right on the Tyne with a reasonable drinks range and excellent food - we enjoyed the Tapas but the pizzas looked very tempting as well! The staff were friendly and service was quick. There's a nice run of pubs in this part of town, and this one should definitely be part of any itinerary.

Firstly just like to say a massive thankyou to the staff at the river view, service is something else! had some great crack with the Lass behind the bar, made to feel very welcome. And the food was everything you could ask for.. Tasty! and hot! and a good portion size couldn't ask for more.

First time here for Sunday lunch, the meal was served piping hot and all the vegetables were fresh and cooked to perfection. Service and staff are brilliant, will definitely be coming back.

Awful. The table was sticky and of clean. The waitress spent the entire time wiping her nose with her hand.The beef was tough and gristly. The cheese toastie looked like it was made yesterday. Never, ever again. Really gone downhill.

Had my dads wake there on Friday and I was really grateful to Kieran and all the staff for making it a great occasion. He let us know he would do anything we wanted food wise and for the arrangements. The buffet was excellent, really good food, the room was beautiful with views over the river, there was an outside veranda, good selection of drinks and very friendly staff. Can't speak highly enough of them.

What a gem. Our first time here but won"t be the last.Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, decor pleasant and reasonably priced. Food very nice with what we ordered, Fish Finger Sandwich and Lamb Special. Will definitely be coming back soon.

We nipped in for a quick lunch and drink on the terrace.Really good food, and the owners/team there are extremely welcoming.Highly recommend visiting, we will be back!(Their takeaway options are also great!)
