The Salmon Leap Pub in New Forest

We popped along just before a walk today with the dogs and kids, we had told friends of ours about Sue Moos and wanted to grab and ice cream, we had arrived 5 mins after they closed but the staff were so wonderful and kind they did us all up ice creams and even yummy meaty treats for the dogs... it was brilliant service and hugely appreciated. Thank you so much ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Food was delicious, & Service impeccable, lovely Staff, Stunning atmosphere..

The salmon leap served good filling bar food which was delicious. The staff were very caring & professional. It was lunchtime but very quiet. Lovely.

Decided to return to this pub and try their meals, after previous disappointment several months ago. Confirmed a new chef there now. Food was excellent. Very pleased we tried it again. Fairly priced. Well presented. Friendly service. Had to order at bar. Will return.

Very good menu, food cooked well & staff very pleasant.

A little bit tired inside but cheerful enough. The toilets really let this place down though. The disabled toilet was absolutely covered in water (maybe not all water) and so was the gents. A quick check from staff and a clean up would do wonders to make this place more inviting.

Had our Christmas meal here last night ...a table of twenty.All the food served was piping hot,on time and tasted incredible.I had the lamb shank,it just melts in the mouth. Not one complaint from the entire table ,in fact every one of us said how good it was...well done guys ,not easy to serve a table that big 👏

Enjoyed a Christmas meal here with 4 friends.. the food was excellent, service by the 2 ladies couldn't be faulted and a great band playing. The Salmon Leap pub never disappoints.

Attended a family function here. Large garden and bar. Pub and toilets was immaculately clean, staff friendly a good selection on drinks at a fair price. Buffet was brilliant we couldn’t eat it all some ordered off the main menu which was also excellent value. Couldn’t recommend enough, want to return for a burger as they looked fabulous. A beautiful walk around the nature reserve just to the left of the pub.

Unexpected quick late lunch for grandons birthday. 5 of us. It was very quiet. The young ladies serving, knowledgeable and helpful. Holding the order until a late arrival turned up.The food was good tasty pub grub. Enough to fill up a grown man for a reasonable price. The salad that l had with haloumi was lovely and fresh. Well done to all. Definitely would return.
