Food was absolutely delicious and the pub is in a lovely location. My only criticism would come from how tightly packed the pub was - the tables were so close together. This may be because the pub is trying to seat more customers since covid. The staff were mostly polite although seemed a bit rushed when we visited - it was particularly busy.Overall lovely food and we will come back

What a find!We had given up on Lymington after walking up and down the High Street, looking for some dinner.Luckily, we wandered down to the quay and found this beautiful place.Amazing food, everything was tasty. Service was excellent and the price surprised me for being so low!Definitely recommend

Flawless. On arrival my partner had a big sugar drop, Trevor, (general manager) was on it straight away, getting her a drink to help bring her back up again. Once composed we ordered food. A starter to share of camembert and artisan bread, very nice. I then had a posh fish finger sandwich and fries, doing the sandwich a bit of a dishonor calling them fish fingers, they were so much better than that. My partner had a fillet steak sandwich and she couldn't fault it, meat was cooked perfectly. We also had a side of haloumi fries which were also spot on. Had a chocolate orange bomb for a sweet. Shared between the two of us and couldn't of had one each as very rich but all the same very tasty. Trevor was very attentive even when he seemed very busy. For all the above well deserved 5 star and will be returning.

A fantastic end to a great weekend in the New Forest. We stopped by on our way home to the Isle of Wight hoping for a quick late lunch with our children and dog and couldn’t have felt more welcome. Even though it was busy we were incredibly well looked after and all thoroughly enjoyed our lunch (the first time our children had cleared their plates since we’d been away!) not to mention the fantastic cocktails and dessert. Highly recommend to all for a great atmosphere, attentive and friendly service and delicious food.

Brilliant customer service and excellent food. Really accommodating for our dog too and all around lovely experience. We came here for a roast and it was delightful! Large plates of food and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend 🤗

Nice place to eat, food was ok and was like warm when served. Everyone serving was polite and attentive, couldn't ask for more service wise.Olive and bread starter was 6 fingers of toasted bread and 6 olives in a tiny bowl. Definitely wouldn't recommend that.Overall a nice place but not great value and food could have been hotter.

Smart, tastefully dining room. A welcome stop at the end of a long walk. Friendly welcome, attentive but not intrusive waiter (james). The wine menu is extensive. Partner had the burger and I had the prawn linguine, both delicious. Highly recommended.

Fantastic - our favourite pub in Lymington! As always the service and food were great, 6 of us had dinner last night to celebrate my brothers birthday. Karen our waitress was friendly and helpful with cocktail and menu choices and the food was delicious. Would highly recommend a visit if you are visiting beautiful Lymington.

My daughter enjoyed her chicken and brie pie, I haven't put a photo of my fishcakes even though they were delicious because I asked for an alternation (which they were more than happy to do) we had mini desserts and coffee - i wish everywhere had this option.Staff very welcoming to us and our dog, offered to get him water.Would 100% eat here again.P.s. Plus clean toilets always a bonus.

Although they were very limited on staff and busy, couldn't fault them. Apart from a hiccup with a potentially dirty wine glass the meal and the service was very good. Left happy customers. Have been before, have been tonight and will definitely come again when we are next in Lymington.
