Very welcoming on arrival and full English breakfast available. Based nearly in centre of Ringwood so everything is in walking distance.

Great food. Nice clean room. Friendly staff. Our dogs were also made very welcome.

Stayed for 2 nights. The room was clean and spacious with everything you would need. Lots of hanging space, desk etc.The food was simply amazing - the panang curry = wowBeer excellent and the general vibe brilliantOwner and staff chatty and good fun.The full English was one of the best I've hadWill definitely return

I stayed in the Star for 17 days during my recent visit to Ringwood to reconnect with family and friends.Nikki and Ian made me very welcome and run a great pub.The Star was my favorite watering hole for years before I left Ringwood to move to the USA.I will be back to the Star on my next visit home.

A MUST !Wonderful food best Thai and i have had in a long time. Large portions very reasonable priced. Lovely special touches in the ladies room which was so thoughful we will most definitely be back. Wish i had come sooner. Cannot recommend enough !

Very poor. Old fashioned rooms, uncomfortable bed. Bathroom doesn’t even have a shower curtain. Plumbing is connected to every room as you can hear when everyone flushed and the system pumped it through. Extremely overpriced!!!Pub/restaurant is very small. Main meal tasted nice and was decent size, unfortunately it wasn’t what I ordered.If you want a breakfast where you can only taste grease then the full English is recommended, one sausage, one rasher, one hash brown, half a tomato, a small pot of baked bean sauce with a couple of beans in it and something that was meant to be an egg? The mushrooms were nice tho.AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!
