The Turf Cutters in New Forest

Great pub. Big pub garden suitable for kids and dogs. Beer good too!

Lovely village pub with great atmosphere, roaring fires, RAF memorabilia. Great food , very reasonable too. Dog friendly for well behaved dogs. Our dog settled very quickly and enjoyed s few titbits of roast chicken!

A group of ladies and myself did the walk from the turfcutters and 5 miles later was back at the pub having a lovely lunch. Very homely and great food. We will be back Simon!

Very accommodating for a group of 6 plus dogs. Waited a little for main meals but kept us informed and worth the wait when it arrived. Chocolate brownie particularly good 👍

We were going to skip lunch but after a 2 hour walk a pub lunch was needed and thus one popped up on a search. Good beer, friendly welcoming staff and lovely food

Fabulous country pub with great food and a good range of drinks. Helpful staff too.

Great country pub. Reasonable selection of good well kept beers and simple but good menu. Recommended.

Good proper old village pub, our food was very good (and the vegan option was tasty, it's a small menu but the burger was 👌) and the vibes are ones I enjoy with live music.

Best Sunday roast I've had in a long time. Generous portions, very reasonably priced, and absolutely delicious.Cosy ambience and attentive staff.Would recommend to anyone and will be back myself next time I'm in the area

Disappointing experience. We found the staff not particularly friendly or inviting, and quite inexperienced. We ordered the chicken curry, which when it came looked very much like the vegetarian version, but it took three attempts to convince the staff that it wasn't chicken, until the chef finally admitted that he had cooked the wrong dish! The correct curry came quickly, so was clearly just stuck in the microwave, not particularly fresh. Probably won't go again.
