Awesome place just off the m27. Super staff who were very accommodating and willing to help. Outside seating for dining or just a cool beer. Great menu and adaptable chef. Kids menu also available.

We have often passed this pub/restaurant and it looked so inviting, so decided to meet up with some friends on the Queen's Bank Holiday Thursday. It really is a lovely place with lots of parking, outdoor and indoor seating. A magnificent tree gives ample shade for sunny days. The bar staff are excellent, really welcoming and friendly. Great selection of ales beers bitter etc. Nice menu. We were told to expect a 45 minute wait for food as it was a busy bank holiday. The food came just over an hour from ordering. The steak burger was a nice home made one and was accompanied with chips and a pot of sauce. It was a little overcooked and quite dry. For £15.95 I thought it was overpriced, especially as there was no side salad. My friend's liver pâté was returned as it did not appear fresh.

What a gem of a find! Lovely pub situated near Lyndhurst. Two minutes off the motorway. The Chicken ham and leek pie was grand! Big garden, play area, plenty of parking, oh and the Brownie dessert was lovely. We'll be back!

Lovely pub, food was great, servers were also great. Thoroughly enjoyed meals, with great atmosphere. Only slip up from not getting 5 stars was asked for no pickle in burger and there was giant pickle putting its pickle flavour over everything. Fished it out and left for chef to have back.. Apart from that no faults, lovely pub, lovely people and lovely food.

Lovely place to eat, the staff were very efficient, friendly and helpful. The food is excellent. The surroundings are clean and comfortable, parking is easy. It's a good stop off point, easy to get to from the A31 main road just 2 minutes away. All together a lovely old English traditional pub, well worth a visit

Lovely Sunday lunch, generous portions and beautifully cooked meats on the roast. Love the idea of the mini pudding and coffee. A top quality pub with great decor and very kind staff. We were served by Tracey who was a delight, friendly and very efficient - thank you for a lovely time.

Absolutely loved it here, we were en route to Lyndhurst after staying in Bournemouth for a few days. We had planned to have brunch in Lyndhurst however the traffic was really bad so we decided to carry on driving and we came across this wonderful place. We ordered starters and mains and they were just amazing. The food and service we felt were impeccable, we had to wait a little while in between courses but we didn't mind too much. There was a lovely play area that our youngest daughter pretty much played on the whole time! Highly recommend, we had a lovely meal!

Excellent service from the moment we walked by Scott the host and Ega serving at our table. Food excellently presented and sooooo tasty. Stated with chicken liver parfait and king prawns with ginger. Main course was stark and ale pie and the house burger, both delicious. No room for dessert unfortunately.... We will be back
