Really appreciate having vegan options on the main menu and not having to ask for a separate menu. I had the roast beef while my husband had the vegan Wellington both of which were very nice and hearty.

Had a lovely meal at the woolpack today, staff are very friendly and accommodating, with a dairy intolerance it’s hard to find tasty food out but had no problems here and plenty of choice. The food was amazing and not overly expensive. We took our 3 yr old cross breed Molly with us and she was truly spoilt with treats and was allowed to sit with us in the restaurant, so 10/10 for dog friendly pub!!

This pub has one of the best beer gardens I've been in, there's two little bridges crossing a stream from the pub and carpark. I wish I had taken pictures as its quite unique. The food was good quality with a mix of classic and modern (mainly British) food and a few European and Asian inspired dishes. All in all a great experience, just a tad on the expensive side.

It was quite busy for a midweek lunchtime but we had booked in advance. Wasn't that keen on the Piddle ale - bit of an acquired taste. Food took a little while to arrive but was hot and fresh. Disappointed that the 'season able vegetables' was just a small portion of cabbage.

Called in for a quick drink after a theatre trip in Bournemouth. Arrived at 10pm. Greeted by a grumpy manager that didn’t engage in conversation. Served our drinks and rudely said we close at 10.30. We were made to feel that we were an inconvenience as being watched while drinking our drinks and heard one member of staff staying he wasn’t staying late.A shame as as a local pub to us all that we have used in the past. We were keen to see the renovations that had been made under new management. The pub has still maintained its cosy interior and I am sure the food is still good. But who wants to sit in a frosty atmosphere.Needless to say we will not be returning.

The food was OK, not as good as it has been in the past, and menu is pretty basic. Feels less like a traditional Inn style pub and more family friendly / Harvester. Not bad, just not as good as it used to be. Friendly and attentive service, so will be going back.

Such a heart-warming place. Good location and car park on sight. The staff is absolutely brilliant and very welcoming. The food is beautiful, we shared 4 of the starters between two of us and it was enough. Also really freaking good.Highly recommended!

What a lovely pub, beautiful setting. I had the vegan roast, vegan Wellington. It’s unusual to find tasty vegan food, this was outstanding and I highly recommend it. All other meals in the party were also exceptional. Our puppy was welcomed, staff really friendly. Highly recommend!

Wow what a place! Lovely Riverside location with a thatched roof. Menu quite extensive to cater for the majority of tastes. I had fish and chips which was delicious. Hubby & son had chicken and steak pies which were homemade and tasted delicious! Daughter had a burger and she said it was o e of the best she's ever had!If I'm down that way again, I'd definitely book here again!!!
