V&G's Ristorante Italiano in New Forest

It's always a lovely experience at V & G's. The food is good, people are very attentive and the coffee is the best I've had anywhere. I love the place!

Everything and more than you'd expect, food, choice, wine, cooked beautifully, can never remember the managers / owners name ??? Great guy.

We've been looking for a 'go to' Italian restaurant since moving to the area a few years ago and finally found it. Excellent authentic food, good atmosphere and attentative team. Would highly recommend and definitely be back in the new year.

Xmas music was tasteful as was the meal.V and Gs pizza is meaty and delicious. Very tastyPenne arrabbiata was great and a tomatoey (loved the spelling on the menus)Prowns were also lovely, spices were great.Dessert and coffee were nice, the sauses were lovely. Traditonal Italian food. Coffee was perhaps the best I've had in a while. Breakfeast and peperment tea too. Very pleasent.Great service and very quick with drinks and food. Overall very happy and would very much come back.

Lovely Italian restaurant situated in Ringwood Town. Nice atmosphere, lovely decor, pleasant staff and tasty food. We decided upon the lasagna which was very nice and plentiful, with a nice glass of wine. Worth visiting.

We were staying in the New Forest and our host mentioned this place, a twenty minute drive away. We decided to skip lunch and head over for the first sitting, at 5:30 on a Thursday evening. Unsurprisingly, we were the first people in, but we were warmly welcomed and given a table in the window to people watch. We'd had a look at the menu online, so we knew what to expect, and ordered a couple of starters to share - pan fried tiger prawns in a white wine, garlic and chilli sauce, and V&G's homemade spicy Italian sausage. Both were lovely. We'd asked for recommendations and found that there were a couple of fish specials that sounded good. I decided to try one of those (the cod with Parma ham, tomatoes, garlic and chilli) while my wife went for the spag Bol (always a good test of an authentic Italian). Both were excellent, and went well with the classy Pinot Blush we'd chosen. Would definitely recommend.

Great starters, absolutely fantastic tbh. Mains were average. They were very busy but service was good. We ordered profiteroles which never appeared. Were charged for a pineapple juice which they didn’t have in stock?

Billy did an amazing job of looking after us and our wedding guests on Wednesday 14th July. Nothing was too much trouble, the food and drinks were fantastic and he made our special day that much more special, so “thank you Billy”, we will definitely be back again sometime soon!

Lovely restaurant. The pasta dishes, the mafia pizza and the chips are really nice. The drinks are a little expensive, but overall I’d recommend it if you’re in the area. The outside seating area was also very nice.
