Sadly very disappointing. We frequent HH loads but this one is obviously over stretched being so close to Poultons Park/Peppa Pig World.Partners side salad wasn't even fit for our rabbit and every time the team approached our table they had the order wrong. The app was blamed on every occasion, which seemed strange! The team were busy but I'm still waiting for our order to be checked! Not once have we been asked if our £50 + order was ok!Such a shame as Greene King are a good chain, if anyone sees this review please invest in this location as it could be extremely lucrative for GK as it's so close to such a busy theme park.Have left feeling rather disappointed and still hungry!

Adding to previous review, and new photo of huge brrakfast, loving the new menu and breakfast items and free pudding Thursday deal.Amazing pub menu, loads of original fun meals and burgers. Quad stack burgers, steak toppers, meet lovers dream. Quick ordering and pay through app. Fast service and delicious food, steaks perfectly cooked. AMAZING deals ALL WEEK. Friendly staff too. Can't fault it. Came back next day for breakfast too 🤣

We stayed at the attached Premier Inn for two nights this weekend and ate and drank in here both nights. We had a fab time! The food was decent for the price and a nice quick meal. The staff were lovely and helpful, especially the young girl with the motorbike. We enjoyed (lots of) reasonably priced drink both nights, and especially enjoyed the karaoke on Saturday, and it was a bonus that the kids were able to join in. Would definitely visit here again if we were in the area 👍🏼

I'm a Hungry Horse fan and this is the only one that I would advise to go somewhere else if you can.Two of use were eating in the restaurant 14/02/2022. The warning sign should have been its only had a few customers in when we arrived, but the Premier Inn car park was full.No one was rude, but no one showed good table service. Who ever was cooking in the kitchen clearly didn't want to be there by the low quality food that was served. We laughed when my colleagues BBQ chicken arrived as only two had a line of BBQ Sauce out of a basket of say 10 drum sticks, but that was only the start.I ordered two meals as they didn't have any Jumbo Fish (My favourite) in stock. All our meals arrived at the same time.Stake Ale Pie Chips and peas.About 10 chips cold and old, more of a scattering than a portion. Peas cold, and the steak pie, lack of filling and pastry rock hard. Clearly nuked by microwave. Very disappointing and normal my second favourite meal.Cheese Burger & FriesSo on this plate I had a portion of skinny chips, warm but a portion. The Burger was tasteless, which is a first for me at a HH.Rump Steak Chips and Peas.My colleagues meal, again cold, old chips and a scattering only not a portion size. Steak was requested medium rare and come kicking the peas off the plate, we joked we could hear it moo it was so rare. The edges of the steak were med rare but only a slice into the steak it hadn't been cooked even. The steak towards the middle was raw... Not just some of it but most of it. My colleague left more than half of the steak saying it was disappointing as it did look a good size.At no point did any staff come over and ask how our meals were, the restaurant was quiet. We had finished our meals for over 20 mins before they were cleared away just as the dessert arrived. I forgot I had ordered dessert being so disappointed with our main course.Fudge Cake and ice-creamCake over nuked in the microwave, you could taste burnt coco on the edges, and the cake was very dry which we took as not close to fresh.Would we visit again NO.For me this is the fist ever Hungary Horse I would not eat at again.Stay away until reviews improve.Very disappointed.

100% would recommend! Came here a few days ago as a treat and the food was lovely and didn't have to wait long for it to come out either! There was a young lady that was taking food to other tables as well as serving people at the bar area, she seemed run off her feet, but still took the time to come over made sure we had everything that was needed, I did ask her for her name but not 100% on what it was I think it was lisa?Would definitely come here again!!

Great to see this pub getting better and better every time I visit. Friendly staff and lovely food (I had a steak which was cooked to perfection.)And the manager Taylor made sure our group of fussy eaters were looked after perfectly. We will be back on Saturday 29th for the karaoke and hopefully quiz night too!

Just ordered a full month mixed grill and only half turned up and 5mins later the rest turned up... Cold well over cooked and even the chicken was raw in the middle!!!

Cheap and cheerful with a kids soft play centre attached (extra £4). It's a Hungry Horse so not high class food but the prices reflect that. The staff are fantastic here. Highly recommended and much better than eating at Paultons Park next door.

Mixed reviews really. Breakfast and the staff in the morning are amazing really polite and helpful, the bad experience is the evening meals. We went three nights in a row and every evening the main meal was cold soggy under cooked had different meals but was not happy with any of them. As you can see in the photo this was kabab and chips with seasoning but it was way to much and could not eat the chips. Shame as good experience for breakfast just a let down in the evening.
