Thank you to Laura for making the experience here truly fantastic with exceptionally good customer care and genuine kind nature to all the guests visiting the Waterloo Arms today. Same very much for the chef and the wonderful high quality food that was perfect in everyway. The atmosphere here is really sets the bar. Highly recommend to anyone in the area looking for a very peaceful relaxing restaurant and pub.

Very nice garden to have a drink and a meal. Pub is also super cute inside and the staff were very friendly. Food was your standard pub food, nothing more nothing less. Nice selection of local beers. We started and finished our 13km Lyndhurst Parish Walk aka the Pub walk from here. Parking available. Wifi available inside as not much 4G around here.

Good pub food. Fish was cooked well, still moist. Chips crisp and soft inside. Small portion of Moroccan veg terrine was just right. The staff were friendly and efficient.

Stopped here for lunch on Good Friday. Enjoyed the lovely sunny garden and, despite being busy, received a really warm welcome. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who were all consistently friendly and helpful. Food was also great and served promptly.Thank you!

Great, traditional pub tucked away in Lyndhurst. Good food and beer. Worth calling in on your way around the Lyndhurst circular walk.Currently (Mar'22) closes relatively early but a great pub nonetheless. A short but worthwhile walk from the Forest Lodge Hotel.Recommended.

We visited this pub on a Saturday lunchtime in January. It’s situated just outside of Lyndhurst just off the A337, it is sign posted. There are some parking spaces at the front but more around the back though it does get busy! It’s a cosy typical country pub, it has a log fire, covered outdoor seating, a garden & it’s dog friendly. We had dinner & the home cooked food is delicious, I had the steak & ale pie, veggies & decided to have chips with it. The meat filling is generous, the service is good & friendly.Usual prices, well worth a visit.

If you are looking for somewhere to have a drink then this pub would be good for you. I wouldn't recommend eating here as it was barely edible. Plastic turkey, minimal vegetables, hard boiled potatoes (still hard too) accompanied by a quarter of a sausage. It was brought out to us after 5 minutes from ordering, this to me says a lot! The amount we paid, did not reflect on what we ate!Avoid at all costs, the main village pubs are a much better option for value of money. The 2 stars given were for the drink as they were very nice (can't really go wrong with a bottled beer)!

Delightful country pub, fantastic authentic rustic interior oozing character. A warm, friendly welcome awaits from very attentive staff. We were lucky and managed to squeeze in on a last minute booking, they were very busy, but the place ran like clockwork. We didn't have to wait long before our drinks order was taken, followed by our food order which also arrived quickly and was delicious. Generous portions but also a great idea of offering a half portion for the smaller appetite. Even though they were busy at no point did we feel rushed and they were dog friendly too. The facilities were very clean and hand sanitizer readily available.Perfect little pub; highly recommend a visit, you won't be disappointed 🙂💕

We managed to get a late booking for 10 and had the best meal. The food was delicious. I had the pork and chicken pate and it was very tasty. My main was lasagne and it was amazing. I was stuffed afterwards. Everyone loved all their meals and the pies. The staff were very polite and helpful. The young waitress was so well mannered and so helpful.. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
