Woodlands Lodge Hotel in New Forest

We had a lovely weekend in your garden suite. It was perfect for Murphy, easy access to the beautiful gardens was so handy. Applause to your chef. We ate dinner each evening and could not fault a single thing. Amazing food. And your staff were so lovely and friendly. It really helped Murphy as we were a little worried he'd be reactive, as this is the first hotel stay we've had since the pandemic started. He felt right at home right away, as did we. Thank you, we will be back! x

We absolutely loved our stay here. Thank you so much Woodlands Lodge Hotel for such a wonderful 2 night stay with our little dog too. A very welcoming hotel. They did everything to make sure our stay was the best it could be. The food was amazing. The room was perfect. We will definitely be visiting again!

Stayed for two nights January 2022. This was the third time we had stayed at this hotel and we have always found it comfortable and the staff friendly and efficient. The food is first class.Set in the beautiful New Forest. We hope to visit again soon

We came for a baby shower and had an afternoon tea. The setting us beautiful and the food was lovely, even got a goody bag to take home! The hotel was clean and the staff very polite and helpful.

Your Review:Lovely, friendly welcome and service from all the staff. The hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Breakfast was delicious and varied and really set us up for walks in the forest which is on your doorstep.

We visited for afternoon tea for a big family birthday. From the planning to the visit the service was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. I have an allergy and the information provided was both helpful and reassuring. I would highly recommend afternoon tea here, especially to dog owners looking for dog friendly locations.

Stayed a few nights with our Dog, nice quite location with forest walks starting from the Gardens. Very dog friendly they get a blanket and towel plus a bed. Food was very good, with a nice choice of wine and they do lovely alcohol coffees 👍

Spent one night here as a precuser to my daughter's wedding next year. Trialled some of the food available for the big day and most options were excellent. Superb location for walking or cycling in the New Forest. Quite a small venue with I think only 17 rooms but ideal for our requirements. Rooms spotless and breakfast great. Staff could not do enough for you. Looking forward to our next visit.

Excellent food. Outstanding children’s menus too. Fantastic breakfast. Very helpful staff. Huge and beautiful garden which borders the forest (you can walk through the garden gate to see the deer, ponies etc!). Very dog friendly (e.g cushions for dogs at meal time). It is an old building so the pipes are noisy, the floorboards creak loudly, the shower was a bit too hot, but plenty of character and features like lovely old wooden shutters.
