A lovely evening! Great food- loved the lamb and New Forest ice cream! Outstanding, friendly service.

Varied and tasty menu, very reasonable prices. Salmon cannelloni was delicious, would recommend this as a starter. We were celebrating my husband's birthday, I had requested something chocolate and was so happy that they made a chocolate cake. I would definitely recommend and will visit again next time we visit Brockenhurst New Forest

We had a fantastic meal at White Tails last Friday. The restaurant setting is really nice and inviting, and the staff are very friendly. As a table of three, we enjoyed the soup of the day, glazed goats cheese and scotch eggs for starters, and lamb shank and pork loin for main. We had lemon meringue and creme brulee for dessert. All dishes were cooked and presented perfectly. We would 100% recommend this restaurant to anyone staying in the New Forest area.

An incredibly well thought out menu that was clearly cooked and served with well-deserved pride. This is definitely a dining experience that is not to be missed, so make sure you book well in advance!The rioja was exceptionally good, but the Scotch Egg really was the star of the show.

Highly Recommended! Visited not once but twice on our recent visit to Brockenhurst. Simply the best food, ambience and service I’ve had for a long while. There is a real pride in execution here and it shows the moment you walk through the door. The menu will have something for everyone. I recommend the steak and also the stroganoff. For starters the delicate Salmon Canneloni is sublime! The king prawn linguine was also tasty and special! You will love this restaurant and the genial host Ramsay who was a lovely chap. I love restaurants where you matter and conversation with Ramsay was enjoyable and relaxed. Thank you Sir!

We've had our dinner in Whitetails every time we've stayed at the Cottage Lodge hotel. Ramsey is a great host and the food is delicious. Eight dinners so far and it has always been good. Highly recommended.

Really beautiful food. We had the scotch egg, the stroganoff (with beef), and the creme brulee and lemon roulade. Everything was super fresh and skilfully cooked, the portions exactly right. We also loved the atmosphere - from decor to music, and the host was very friendly and gave us recommendations. We felt very safe with regards to covid measures, and cannot wait to return and taste more of the menu!

Strongly recommend White Tails! The food was great and the place is run with obvious care and passion. I really enjoyed my food, there were 2 delicious-sounding vegetarian options in the starters and in the mains. I had the goats cheese starter and the mushroom stroganoff main and both were delicious. Also loved the cheesecake for dessert.
