Myself and my partner went to visit just for dinner and the hospitality was 10/10. We were warmly greeted by Billy who so kindly offered to take pictures of us, show us around and also made sure we were happily seated in the Morse bar. He even went above and beyond by gifting us with some Graduate Hotels chocolate on the house! The food itself was lovely! We ordered fish and chips and the risotto and both were delicious. No complaints and fairly priced. The hotel is one the most beautiful I have been to in the UK. It's picturesque at every turn, the service is great and we will definitely be back for an actual stay soon. Would highly recommend when in Oxford.

This is a beautiful hotel in a prime location at the heart of Oxford. Unfortunately, the service is not what I would expect from a five-star hotel at this price range. I was given conflicting information about whether breakfast was included in my room rate by the front desk and restaurant staff. On day three I asked and was told that there was a £20 minimum spend included in my room rate. This only applies to food, which I learned at checkout when tea and bottled water I had in the bar area appeared on my bill (the front desk kindly removed these charges when I pointed out that this was misleading). At breakfast and at the bar, I sat for 15-20 minutes waiting to be served and to sign for the charges, which is especially frustrating when you are traveling and dining solo. Over the four nights that I stayed in the hotel, my room was only made up twice due to the service coinciding with the two hours I was in my room in late afternoon in Zoom meetings. There were also multiple supply closets next to and across from my room, which meant that there was jostling and people right outside my room at all hours of the day, including after 11PM every night. Again, especially disconcerting as a solo female traveler. Each of these issues on their own would have been a minor annoyance, but all of them combined really soured my stay at The Randolph. If the service were improved this could be a wonderful place to stay.

I have just returned from a weekend stay. From the moment we walked in and greeted by Paul and Bill we was blown away, they were so helpful and nothing was to much. The hotel is stunning rooms were lovely, clean and the beds were so comfortable. I had a full body massage from Christina and it was by far the best Iv ever had. Breakfast was lovely a great selection. Nick again was amazing to helpful nothing was to much and always had a smile on his face. Loved it and can not wait to return - Thank you

Fantastic experience and stay at the Randolph over the weekend. The hotel was nice, but what always makes it for me is the staff interactions. They were extremely helpful and always willing to help and always smiling. Billy and Alex really stood out to me on this and they were very accommodations and welcoming. Thank you for everything!

We were incredibly disappointed with our stay at The Randolph and disappointed by Mr and Mrs Smith which to date has never let us down until now. It was a special night away for my husbands birthday. Our freezing bedroom I am pleased to say was rectified but the general hotel service is incredibly poor. You are reminded at every turn how ‘busy’ they are. Breakfast is ridiculous - tiny portions and it was stone cold and ££ for what you receive. Again service was so poor/slow in the end we decided just to go without items like butter as it was near impossible to get a member of staffs attention. The hotel needs some love on the higher floors, there are barely room numbers left on the walls, plug in radiators in the bedrooms. I know it is an old property but our curtains were blowing through the closed windows. I know the industry has had a tough time and resource is tricky, but charging ££ rates, clients expect and deserve more. (The porter was fantastic, the only member of staff that seemingly cared). We sadly would not return to this hotel.

wonderful boutique hotel in the heart of the city.the staff was great.we arrived to the UK early in the morning and arrived in oxford at about 8:30 AM.we were just expecting to leave our luggage and walk around until our room was ready, but the staff found us a room so that we were able to check in early.we were well rested for a couple of hours before heading out.the room was charming and very comfortable.the hotel has a great vibe.it is minutes from everything and across the street from Ashmolean Museum - which one should not miss.i will definitely try to book here again in the future when i visit oxford.

Staff were very helpful and friendly with us and our dog, who was treated to a stay here with us. Room was well furnished with a generous bathroom. View wasn't great, but not much can be done about that. Price point could be better, but your 4 and 5 star options are limited in Ox. Same for the charge for parking - but Ox has always discouraged cars, so not unexpected! Great location for exploring the city - even for us ex-graduates reliving our glory years 😉

On a second visit here, it was clear the hotel had really started to settle into its new look and ownership. I was treated to an excellent upgrade with a lovely room and view of the Ashmolean. The staff were welcoming and went out of their way to make the experience. It’s worth noting that the room service menu and times are limited and the AC wasn’t the easiest/ most effective. If you are staying in Oxford city centre, the Randolph remains the best option.

What a beautiful hotel. From the moment you enter you get the feeling you have arrived somewhere you want yo be. Good sized room. Friendly staff. Great atmosphere. Could not give it 5 stars because the room and restaurant were too hot to be comfortable, and the service at breakfast was slow, nesrly 25 minutes after being sat at the table till having our order taken. No offer of more tea/coffee etc. Would stay again hoping service had improved.

Me and my mum stayed here for my 30th birthday last weekend and I was so impressed with the friendliness and welcoming nature of the staff. We were made to feel very special and the staff had left me a birthday card and some chocolate in our room which was a nice surprise. The room was lovely and comfortable. Paul in particular was really helpful and kind to us during our stay. We would definitely recommend staying here.
