We can't recommend this lovely little gem enough, it's a bit of a walk from the main part of Oxford but it's worth it, great friendly staff, food was hot, tasty and plentiful. The decor is fantastic, back to everything 80s that we love !

Visited Oxford from London for a day trip and this was our chosen lunch spot. The service was impeccable from the moment you step in, very cheerful staff and overall nice vibes. The decor was absolutely spot on, my comic book living brother was ecstatic to say the least. I knocked down a start only because I wasn't impressed with my meal. My burger was overcooked unfortunately so it felt like chewing on cardboard. I think it might be a good idea to ask how well done customers might like it? Just a suggestion. The buns weren't toasted enough either. My fries were nice, and our side buffalo does was lovely however. I'll defibrillator recreate that at home. That said, my company, who were my brother and neice, were very happy with their choices of hot dog and chicken burger. I do recommend this place, but perhaps they might want to work a little more on the quality of their ingredients? Just a constructive feedback! Thanks for having us regardless.

I was visiting Oxford from London, saw this place online and thought the food pictures looked amazing. Tried to find it with Google maps but couldn't find it at all. The reason being there isnt an outside sign saying Atomic Burger. If you are going catch a cab or bus. Food was good and served quite quickly. Buffalo natchos tasted amazing and the burgers were not bad, buns under cooked but ok. But the best thing about the place for me was the tour and figures from when I was a child. Old school and brought back so many memories.

I haven't been here for years, but we had the most delicious burgers here tonight. Full marks. Loved the 80s toy deco too👌

·

Average burger and fairly average dirty fries. Slightly disappointed that the burger wasn't any where nearly as good as a five guys burger. Also I'm quite sure the fries were frozen cheap bagged ones and had an underwhelming amount of cheese. Staff were lovely though and made the occasion better than the food could. Excellent comic book decor and theme though and quite enjoyed the experience just the food let it down a little

I was in Oxford for a concert at the O2 Academy just down the road and popped in here for a bite beforehand. The service was prompt and friendly, even with just the one server. The food was great, some of the best bacon I've eaten in a burger in a long time! The aesthetic is somewhat of an explosion of all things nerdy, something I really appreciated, everywhere I looked I saw a different movie/tv show/video game referenced in the form of some sort of memorabilia which made simply looking around a delight.

Pretty decent food, but seem to be overchargingGreat variety on the menu, and a good aesthetic, but slightly uncomfortable chairs, and small tables. Also I’d avoid the bacon milkshake - I’ve had some before and they’ve been great. But their one had a strange taste to it.

Fabulous decor and lovely friendly service. The food is exceptional - between us we had wings, the Dead Elvis burger and the trailer park fries - all very tasty, and the oreo milkshake was first class according to my son. The closest parking is behind Tesco Express (2 mins walk away) - cash or card and very reasonable.

So grateful to the staff at the Oxford Atomic Burger! Their effort to ensure my son had a good time for his birthday meal was clear! Such a cool spot for any kid or big kid to enjoy. Everywhere you look there’s something else you didn’t notice in the decor and the food was mammoth! I had the Cordell Burger- pulled pork was amazing! The shakes are fun in a glass! Thank you for making a 12 yr olds birthday! He hasn’t stopped talking about it.

This place is right off your '80s and '90s childhood Argos catalogue Christmas list!! The memorabilia is insane and brought back so many memories! Team it with awesome food, crazy milkshakes, and music videos and you have the perfect dinner spot!
