Banana Tree Oxford in Oxford

Busy pan Asian restaurant in the heart of city serving Thai, Malay style food. Food was ok but just ok. service too. Optional service charge added which I'm not a fan of.

Heard a lot about Banana Tree but didn’t try yet so thought let’s give it a go. I ordered my food delivery. Not long I have to wait. Received warm food. Just served myself in a plate. Just yummy. So mouthwatering. I really enjoyed and thought why not try next time in Restaurant so I can enjoy the atmosphere too.

I had my bday party 🎉 in this place... they were very helpful with all the preparation. The food, like always, absolutely lovely. The staff that served us that night on the 25/01/22 was exceptionally attentive and kind. He provided an outstanding service. Very caring and always smiling.

We chose this restaurant as our marriage celebration party with our love ones! The food is absolutely amazing, I love it and all our friends and family enjoyed a lot too!! The location is very convenient as well, roughly 10 mins walk apart from the register office in Oxford ~ I would love to come back again 🤤 yum yum!

I would definitely rate it 5 star because of the amazing food that's served here. The dumplings are good for starters and the special Banana Tree noodles (chicken) was one of the best noodles I have had in Oxford - the portion is good, the taste is excellent and comes with a lot of veggies.The service is also quite good, with staff being very warm, friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend the place.

Nice spot with flavourful vegan options and delicious cocktails. The happy hour deal is quite nice, as well! My one critique being they seemed a bit understaffed. The service was friendly and professional, but not the fastest.

An absolutely wonderful experience! The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. We arrived a little early for our 7pm booking but was ushered in and seated so that we could take advantage of Happy Hour before it finished at 7pm! The food was out of this world! Best Asian since our trip to Thailand! Will definitely be visiting other Banana Tree locations closer to home!
